“Collingswood cleaners is my go-to for dry cleaning and tailoring. My best experience with them was earlier this year for the tailoring work that they did for my wedding dress. The owner is very sweet and attentive and was able to hem my dress within a month of my wedding. It fit perfectly. Their pricing is fair and appropriate for the beautiful work that they do. I highly recommend!”

“DO NOT allow this place to repair or alter your clothes. I recently brought in two jackets to have the sleeves taken up a half inch. On both jackets, only one sleeve was altered which is absurd. On the sleeves that were altered, the lining was left unfinished and the sleeves now appear twisted. I would have been better off attempting to tailor the jackets myself.
Edit: I took the jackets back in and the owner/manager had them fixed within 2 days. Everyone makes mistakes, these guys owned theirs and made it right. I’ve been a repeat customer since. Also the dry cleaning prices are very reasonable.”

“I was going to a wedding in Georgia in a couple of days, and the zipper broke on the dress I was supposed to wear. I showed up pretty late on a Friday afternoon, and they fixed my zipper, installed a clamp, and sowed it back up right there with no issues. I was anticipating them telling me they wouldn’t be able to fix it in time, so I was so so so grateful that they took the time to help me.”

“I'm not sure where to start with this one, outside of Rim's One Hour cleaners being both the best cleaners and alterations spot I've found in Philly. In fact, as a lady who has also lived in Miami, LA, and NYC; I'd say it's the best cleaners I've been to, period. Let me begin with an example. I recently had a dress, that was too big, that required an advanced alteration. I went to multi places ranked as past winner's of "philly's best" for tailoring/alternation, only to be told what I wanted was not possible, or to be quoted outrageous prices. Well, I went to Rim's; and let me tell you, the job done was SO AMAZING, that I've been stopped multiple times wearing this dress to be complimented on the fit. At this point, this is the only place in Philly I'm letting touch my alterations. I should mention, the cost of services was SO REASONABLE. Oh and I should mention the owner is truly so kind and the turnaround on alternations so really so speedy (dropped off on Tuesday, got back on Saturday, pressed and altered). Additionally, all of my dry cleaning experiences have been fantastic and so timely too! Jake and his business are just truly phenomenal!”

“Jessica truly cares for her customers. I had a dry-cleaning rush order for my 3 piece suit due to an interview scheduled within 24 hours. She did not have the necessary equipment for such a quick job, but she gave me fantastic advice on where to go. “By far my favorite laundromat. Huge washers for the people who rather do it all in one shot. They take really good care of the machines. Clothes always come out super clean. Free drying when u wash there. Never waiting for someone to get their wash. The attendants r constantly cleaning and disinfecting. Great price.”

“Clean, different options for load sizes and costs, machines are in good working order, and there's even a fun vintage "pinball" machine where you win a ball with each play (25¢) ~ would give full 5 stars but on a hot day, even with fans, it's really hot (but I'd prefer that to higher costs to use the machines). There's a box with donated books & a magazine bin and a few other donated odds & ends ~ very obviously a caring community.”

“Today was my first time using this laundromat and I was pleased with my experience. I called ahead to verify the hours of operation and last load, when I had the pleasure of speaking with Ms Valerie. It was already about 9:30 when I called but she was still so understanding and polite. She asked me how much laundry I had and welcomed me to come by!
Ms Valerie welcomed me as a new customer and made small talk with me, but she never stopped working. There was a vending machine for snacks and one for drinks that are reasonably priced. Yet Ms Valerie let me know there was free coffee and cookies available on a back table. She was very welcoming, her customer service was top tier.
When I arrived it was busy but there were plenty of washers and dryers still available. I was a little shocked to see the smallest washers were $4.25 though. I found that to be kind of high until I realized they are big enough to fit 2 loads in each. However, I do wish they had a few regular size, one load washers available. The machines all look new and very well maintained and the place was clean. I didn’t use the bathroom but they do have one available for customers.
The dryers get really hot so everything dried on the first cycle. There’s signage on the wall that says what not to dry. They offer “wash & fold” services as well, or “drop & pickup”.”

“For self-wash, the facility is clean and reasonably priced. The staff is also very friendly. I’ve been using this facility for years on an as-needed basis.Today, I had a lot to manage and decided to try the full-service wash and fold. The clothes were clean, but were sloppily folded. After spending over an hour refolding the laundry, I realized unfortunately my favorite nice shirt from an expensive store was missing from my clothes and I had someone else’s lost sock.Had my shirt not been missing with the laundry bag I had put it in, I would’ve given 4 stars. I’m hoping when I call tomorrow morning that they still have my shirt and laundry bag and have not given it away to another customer by accident.EDIT: So I was luckily able to get my favorite shirt back! The woman who did my clothes never dried my shirt and left it in the laundry bag on a counter. So when I called first thing this morning, it was found, dried and will be ready for pick up shortly. I will likely have to wash it again, as it’s been sitting wet since at least 3pm yesterday, but I’m happy to have it back!Something to consider before using a full-service option like this…Is the time-savings worth the possibility of having your clothes lost or damaged (shrunk)? For me, it’s not.”
