“Today I ran into an issue with my pharmacy (rite aid). They informed me my Rx plan wasnt covering the medication and I would have to pay $900. I was willing to pay the $900 since there’s a chance it would help my pregnancy, But they were not able to order it for me! I called 7 pharmacies and they all told me they had to order it, and it wouldn’t come in until after the holiday (July 4th).I came across Fishtown Pharmacy on my google search. I thought “I’ll try one more”. I informed the pharmacist at Fishtown Pharmacy my issue. RIGHT AWAY, he knew how to help me, and right away he gave me the price of $75!!! I got in my car and drove from Bucks County! When I arrived he looked at my prescription, he questioned why the doctor didn’t give me another milligram? He called my doctor, they changed the prescription. And guess what? IT WAS COVERED! I only had to pay $1 copay.They took 5 minutes to fix my problem and solve it for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am able to start this medication and hope it continues to move me in the right direction for my pregnancy. I can’t thank the staff enough here!”

“I’ve been using Kennedy Pharmacy for several years now. They are a hidden gem in the Rowan School of Medicine building.The entire staff is great. Gus, Ewa, Julie, Kayla and the 2 part time pharmacists they’ve had. They do good things in the community - raising funds to help people who have experienced a catastrophe, conducting vaccine clinics, etc.They fill orders quickly and reliably. There’s an app that you can use to communicate/chat with the pharmacy and they typically respond within minutes. They make the process very easy and convenient. They do NOT make any errors billing your insurance or worse, mislabelling your medication (I’m looking at you Walgreens on Chews Landing Road…)PS. Sometimes they have donuts and pretzels too!”

“Good prices. Used this pharmacy for a couple of years now after getting mediocre service from another out of state pharmacy for our dogs compound prescriptions. They do however lag in time from when the prescription gets faxed over to when they start the compounding process. Sometimes you have to call them and tell them to go to the fax machine and look for it. 3 days lag time, 2 days for compounding plus delivery could be 7 - 10 more days before arrival. Fixing this issue would put them on top of the list. 2 weeks waiting for heart meds could be dangerous. You learn to compensate time for this mismanaged area when ordering.”

“I just started going to this pharmacy a few months ago. Everyone that works here including the pharmacist are so friendly and helpful. I have never waited more than 20 minutes to get my scripts filled, they even offer delivery for an extra $10 so you don't have to travel or if you're just sick and don't want to leave your house. They call me instead of an automated VM letting me know if one of my medications is due and that it has already been filled. One really important factor here they are non-judgmental, meaning many times if you are on certain medications the pharmacist and their helpers will treat you like a druggie or even like a shoplifter I have never been treated this way and have always been given the utmost respect when there.. definitely worth the 35 minute drive for me.. but now I use the delivery service too!”

They remembered me after my first visit several years ago, greeting me by name, and since then I wouldn’t dream of ever going to a chain pharmacy again (especially the one whose name begins with a C and ends with and S with a V in between). Have gone above and beyond for me on more than one occasion. Don’t immediately throw any problems that may arise back onto the customer, but actually try to work with all parties (doctors, insurance companies, etc) involved if there’s an issue. Reminds me of the pharmacies that existed before the chains began monopolizing the market. Save yourself the hassle and aggravation of dealing with one and support small businesses at the same time. Tom, the pharmacist is the so friendly, never hesitates to accommodate your needs. If he don’t have something he will get it for you quickly. Anytime you have a question about prescriptions or over the counter medications, Tom is extremely helpful, knowledgable and never rushes you. He answers any questions and/or concerns you may have. “Im not a patient yet… but calling Kress today about switching to a small family owned pharmacy has put my mind at ease. I’ve always gone to CVS and always got the run around and the lady I spoke to really helped me today! She gave me reassurance that she didn’t need to give me. I suffer with anxiety and unfortunately I had to look high and low to find someone who could help me with a certain generic brand (I had to call the actual manufacturer) and the pharmacist let me know they will sometimes not have the generic that works best for me (7 years) but it’s NOT going to be garbage like the one CVS gave me and told me “tough luck” and hung up. She didn’t have to tell me this but she did. She spoke to me with kindness and understanding even though I rambled on from “anxiety babble” and didn’t know me.
