I met the owner Justin through jiu jitsu and it may be the most important connection I have ever made. My wife, son and I now do yoga weekly with Justin in the studio and it has transformed our lives and relationship as a family. The location is intimate and cozy, giving you a comfortable feeling when you walk in the door. The classes are fun and challenging but you control how challenging you want to get. I have done Yoga a bunch of times with other teachers and NONE have ever been as good as Justin, he is REAL. Since practicing yoga at Yoga Rebellion, I have seen a huge improvement in my overall mental and physical health. I have improved my flexibility, I have grown more aware of the areas in my body that need work and I have built strength. There are a million places to go to try yoga but if you want the one that is going to leave you feeling better about yourself, this is the one.

Note: the new location is in Collingswood. I've been attending classes off and on for a few years now and have more recently attended exclusively here. Since covid, I took outdoor and virtual vinyasa classes which has done wonders for my spirit. The outdoor kettlebell classes are also great and i'm excited to catch some on Patreon through the Winter. I am a beginner w the kettlebell and Justin has made this easy to understand yet challenging. Recommend this yoga style for anyone wishing to get stronger and deepen their practice. Indoor yoga classes are with heat, so virtual and outdoor has been great since I die a little trying to yoga in the hot.

Yoga here, yoga there, yoga everywhere - but not all yoga is created equal. I look for yoga that forces me to leave everything behind on my mat. Sweat, fear, apprehension, worry, stress, daily drama and all the b.s. that comes with being an adult. I want to get my heart rate up, twist, turn, pull, stretch, bend, move and leave having nothing left to give. To be honest, I get mad when the class I take has the group sitting around rolling our writs around for an hour. I can do that on my own thank you very much. Enter Justin & Yoga Rebellion. I ended up here because a friend is constantly talking about this place and all the great things that happen in this tiny studio in Haddon Heights. First, I was welcomed in and made to feel at ease - critical for a new person. Second, the studio is clean, intimate and heated. Critical - I hate yoga in the cold. Third, the class was so challenging! Holy CROW Pose! You want a workout, you'll get one here. For me the magic comes from what happens on the mat. When I'm trying to pay attention to the queues, trying to keep the flow, trying to land the pose, trying not to fall, etc ...I am not thinking about anything else. I get out of my head, I quiet my thoughts and leave feeling refreshed. That's the whole point, a reprieve a break from life - even if it is just for an hour. My friend is an amazing yogi. I'm not, I can't do any of those crazy inversions, arm balance sequences, I'm not flexible and I still can't turn myself inside and out. I won't lie, I was intimidated from all that I've heard. There was no need. If you are, don't be. Don't worry about anything other than yourself and your practice. Give it a try, you will be so glad you did. Cheers & Namaste.

I've been coming here for a couple years now. As a yoga teacher, sometimes its hard to find places to go. For me, I was looking to get away from all of the jargon that came with most of the classes I was taking. I wanted to be somewhere I felt good because of what my body was capable of AND the people I was with. I found my yoga home at YR. Justin and his teachers take a no BS approach to this practice. This is life, and we are people. It doesn't matter how much training you have or who you think you are; check it at the door. Everyone is on the same level, and that was something I really needed. I leave each time filling filled up. When I practice here I feel both challenged and inspired. I don't feel the need to impress anyone with what I'm doing, saying or wearing and that means a lot. I've learned more here than at any other studio. This is what yoga is about, and this place is where it happens. Thankful for the community I have here.

If you are a seasoned yogi looking for a challenge or a newbie looking for some yoga basics go see Justin at Yoga Rebellion. The studio is small, one room pretty much houses the studio. Please sign up for classes online using the Mind Body app to guarantee a spot. Justin is very friendly and makes you feel like an old friend. He is very knowledgeable and has creative sequences. There are blocks at the studio. Bring your mat, towel and water and get ready for an amazing class. $15 for a drop in.

I can't recommend yoga rebellion enough! It's unlike any other yoga studio in the area. The sequences are always unique and the instructors are all knowledgeable and friendly. Justin has created a great community at his studio and new students feel welcomed the moment they walk it.
