My son was so excited for a toy that they had their and we're still looking for a new apartment but we know we will come back to find furnishing and stuff here. “If you love new and used books. Then this is the place to be. I spent $8.09 for a used hardcover copy of Dodsworth published in 1926. Plus a $1.00 donation to the cause.The staff here is awesome.I have such a high regard for used books. Sometimes just settling in with a cup of tea and some sunshine. To read a great story. She ended up finding the most beautiful items and she can't wait to return. She said the color tags for discounts are amazing and the quality and selection of the clothes are top notch.”
“It’s a little thrift shop with little amount of things but they have great prices. Sometimes you can catch good sales. I caught a sale, clothes were $1 each. The employees are friendly too. There’s some hidden treasures in here. I recommend checking it out.”
“I absolutely loved coming here. It is very well organized and has plenty of variety of all different prices but not too expensive. Everything had an accurate price for what it was and I found so many gems. Love this place the prices vary from $5-$12.99 on most things. However if you’re looking for more vintage clothing or jackets they’ll vary from $24-$79 which is honestly really good because in most stores you’ll find them to be $200+ so definitely recommend. The workers were absolutely amazing and very helpful. The vibe of the place was great!!

“Bargains to hunt and you don't need to get a license to bag some deals. Curious collection of items both one offs and bulk from light bulbs to tents to tile adhesive tv sets or 10$ brand new Levi's. Couches, tables, chairs, tools... If you hate the incipient waste and mark up of prices in today's society or need 300 chalk marking lines, look no further... You can look further, but I mean come on it's right there on Washington, why drive elsewhere...9.5/10 staff deserves an A.”
“Mesh is my favorite vintage store in Philly and possibly on the planet! I have been shopping here for years, and owe this store for probably half of my wardrobe. Mesh is a seriously rare breed these days - a curated store of all vintage pieces, with pricing that actually allows you to buy and enjoy things!! Harder and harder to find in this era of online vintage resale and exclusive pricing. The owner of this store puts SO much work into sourcing everything and running this shop. Have found gems from the 1910's - 1980's here, casual stuff., jeans, formal wear, dresses, shoes etc. My friends and I are all obsessed with this store. Do not miss out.”

“The Light House is a place where you can either donate clothes or other items of things that you may not have any use for and they would gladly and appreciate your donations and you can also shop inside the store for anything that your family need for any occasion. Me myself I donate to them alot of my clothing that I have no in need of wearing again so I decided to donate my things bc maybe I can help someone out who may be able to use for themselves or a family member or there children. Now if you are Dropping off the things that you may not any use for can go around the back to drop off between 10a - 4p on SaturdaySunday and Monday they're closeAnd the other days they're open btwn 10a-4:30p at the front of the store. And they're very courteous respectful people and I still have some more clothing, sneakers, to donate too this Lighthouse. So everyone if you wish to drop off the things that you have no more use for anything you may like to donate than just drop it off and they also will give you a receipt to write it off on your taxes. So everyone good luck with donating and someone out in need..Thank you ?I just dropped off today 2 bags and a box of coffee mugs and I'm also now in my closet getting ready for some more Jean's, sneakers, all sorts of many things that I don't have any use for again and I will take to lighthouse next week..Thank you again everyone for listening to my Post..?”

“Small store but great variety. Found some STEALS there. Went in for one outfit for semi-formal event, walked out with a bunch of fall additions to my closet, including 2 great pairs of shoes. I have benefitted from Project HOME's adult classes and know people who benefit from their housing. Love being able to help the community/organization and also being able to get some wins as well.
Also, the gentleman who was working, who I believe is the store's manager, was incredibly kind and a funny.

“I passed this cool Small shop on South St. looking for a barber. Mostly curated new items with a quaint thrift section on lower level. Really great prices and a cool atmosphere. “Absolutely love this store. The staff works really hard and most if not all are friendly. As for the prices, the best I've seen so far. I've gotten so much from here. Here's a few books, clothes and a painting I've gotten from here recently.Also a few questions I can answer* Donations stop at 6pm* On Wednesdays almost all the clothes are half off. (They go by colors)(different colors for different days. This changes often.)* I go everyday and everyday I see new things* Bring your own bags. (They have bags but a small selection)* I have been told by staff that this location will be closing at the end of Jan 2024 to get renovated.* MY average price for my clothes is like $2.50”
“I go once, then I find my self going back because they put out murchandise every day, but spending hundreds of dollars in there can become menatnous. I am going to try to cut down on my visits there, but I highly recommend it to people who don't mind spending the money for good things.”

“Good place,Good people….Tools,electronics,shoes. Audio, or sporting goods this is my first stop for everything and always get a better price than any other shops in the area and they always work with me no other spots take the time to help you out also when I have to get rid things I don’t need anymore an need a few extra bucks I’ve always received good offers I’ve had a brand new pair of Jordan’s that were ordered online and were the wrong size and were almost impossible to get refunded or the size exchanged so I just held on to them and accepted the loss I tried a we buy everything in somerdale and the guy said they were fake an wasn’t interested lol that’s the quality employee you deal with there had no idea what he was doing (shoes were 100 percent official from the Nike website with confirmation receipt)and never worn at all yes good times lol but overs here drew is the man I find what I need and always enjoy the convos and good atmosphere I’ve never left in a dull mood….”
