We had an awful experience at this school. There was zero communication only at a teacher conference 6 months after school started- all to whine at me that my 2 year old doesn’t sit in her chair all day . The expectations of that age was unrealistic. The administration told me they maybe if my husband was more involved there would not be any issues ( he is very much involved. I did pick ups and drop offs) . We are so happy with the school both my kids attend now- I regret not pulling this sooner. This isn’t a caring or loving environment. I don’t think they do any form of continuing education. The classrooms are tiny, dark, outdated and very cluttery. There are plenty of amazing options in haddonfield.

They do great entertainment for the kids. I recommend them!

This is our second year at Beechwood school and I have loved our experience. I am a special education public preschool teacher & I can be very picky when it comes to educational experiences for my children . The teachers have treated my child and me warmly. She has grown so much since starting and even I have learned a thing or two! I am always greeted by name and with a warm smile by the staff.

I am very happy with Beechwood School - small class sizes, varied activities, friendly staff. It's been pretty amazing to see how much my son has learned and progressed since he started here. The hours are also crucial for working parents, as they provide care all day.

The warm and welcoming staff, the quaint and quiet setting, and the attention my child receives really makes the preschool stand out from the crowd. As a public school teacher I really scrutinized on where to send my children, and this was a perfect fit.

I love this school. There are a bunch of wonderful things about it:1. Their classes are small, have two teachers each, and have a narrow age range. This means that the office staff works hard to balance each class each year and each class has kids all the same age, unlike many preschools that put kids ages 3-5 in the same class!2. They don't plug kids in front of a screen. My son does a unique craft every single day, he runs and plays with friends, learns how to cooperate and share, and basic literacy skills, all of which he needs for kindergarten. He can cut with scissors like a pro because they focus on giving kids practice with fine motor skills, without any drill'n'kill worksheets. I sent him to school to be a kid and learn how to be with other kids, not a zombie in front of an iPad or computer screen. :)3. The school is small and truly a community. The owners, who run the front office, know everyone. They notice if a child is not there that day. They are truly friendly, personable, and wonderful to work with.4. Their hours are flexible. If you work part time and want your child there some days and home some days, they work with you to make a schedule for your child that works for you! Just look way in advance and reserve your spot because there is a waiting list; this school is that good!
