“Melange in Haddonfield, NJ is truly a gem for children’s clothing. It’s run by the sweetest mother–daughter duo, Debbie and Courtney, who make every visit feel personal. Debbie is always so kind and welcoming, and Courtney’s energy and creativity shine through in everything she does. I’ve known them for years (I even worked with Courtney in fashion a long time ago), and seeing her open a store and thrive has been such a joy.
South Jersey really needed a shop like this. It’s filled with adorable, high-quality kids’ clothing and gifts. Courtney has an incredible eye as a buyer, curating the most beautiful pieces from favorite brands like Rylee + Cru, Mayoral, Mish, Lola + the Boys, Feather 4 Arrow, Posh Peanut, Angel Dear, Jelly Cat and more. Plus she’s always bringing in new unique finds from all of the world like France, Spain, and Portugal. Whether you’re shopping for your own children or need a thoughtful gift for a baby shower, birthday, or new arrival, this is the place to go.
Courtney is also one of the most entrepreneurial and collaborative people I know. Years ago, we even hosted the launch party at her store for our pregnancy tracker and companion app called Bumpdate. She didn’t even hesitate at the idea of figuring out a way we could support each other. I’ll forever be grateful for that. It made for such a fun, creative experience. Guests enjoyed sipping on wine, mocktails, light bites from local favorites, downloading our app and shopping for an unexpected goodie. That spirit of collaboration and community really comes through in how Court and Debbie run Melange.
Lastly I have to mention one of my favorite things. How easy they make gift-giving. You can work with them over Instagram or the phone, give them your budget, and they’ll package everything beautifully and even ship it. Anytime I see one of their Melange gift bags, I know the present inside will be perfect.

Then at check out, I was so pleased with the cashier, his name was Jack. He was so kind and patient, I picked a few things I decided to put back, and he was just the most helpful person. “I've been shopping here for 20 years for my children and myself. There's a variety of clothing for children from newborn to teens and junior sizes. The plus size section also has a nice selection of clothing. Prices are reasonable. Parking lot is on premises.”
“Forman Mills is a solid option if you are looking for basics and workwear. They have a wide selection of jeans, work pants, jackets, and undergarments that are easy to find and well-stocked. However, the men's clothing section has changed significantly—the inventory is now heavily flooded with oversized shirts, making it extremely difficult to find properly fitting, standard shirts suitable for grown men. Great for pants and outerwear, but disappointing for everyday men's shirts.”
“I love supporting Minnow Lane! They offer such a curated and unique selection of kids clothes and toys that you just can't find anywhere else. The store itself is beautifully laid out, and the staff are wonderful—they are so helpful when looking for gifts!
I recently picked up some items from their second hand section, it is a great option for gently used clothes and shoes for your kids.”

“What a great store! The owner greeted my SIL and I right away and helped point us in the right direction towards beautiful baptism dresses for my daughter! We picked out a few, she allowed us to try them on my daughter and helped us with the try on process! She then steamed the dress we picked for us! There are beautiful clothes her for boys and girls! “I loved this store. It was neat and Clean just like the J Crew stores. The selection was good. It had a mix of summer and fall merchandise. Most of the summer merch was on sale! I purchased T shirt dresses which are super comfy. The prices aren't really outlet prices but a bit cheaper than the regular store.”
“I’d never ordered school uniforms before so I was a little intimidated going in! Joe was fantastic and made it so easy! When I came in to pick up my daughter’s uniforms for Pre-K, he asked me how old my daughter was and gave me some guidance on which size pants we needed for her. He was even prepared to give me a different size than what I had ordered, as long as I thought it would fit her! In the end the size he recommended was a perfect fit. I really appreciated Joe’s helpful advice and courtesy, and I hope the local Catholic schools continue to use Boystown Girlstown as their supplier for years to come. Thanks :)”

“Staff is very friendly and helpful.They know all of the uniform requirements for your school .Also,if you forget your child's size from last time,they have a record of all items and sizes that your child has previously gotten at their store. No worries if you just stop by without your student to pick things up.They have your sizes covered and they also have all the pieces to the uniform in stock and ready to go! Shopping for school here is easy and pleasant.”
“Walked in just as three females were being taken out in handcuffs by the 39th. The vibe was still good. The store was fairly empty so check out was smooth. Customer service was surprisingly very good, even when security stopped us at the front because a sensor was still on an item. Checked out with a smile”

“Love old navy for shopping however i have found the prices to be better online and no annoyed employees. My encounter may have been unique but when i said excuse me to ask a question i was met with rolling eyes and an attitude. Granted she did what i asked but woth a huff and a puff and despite my overly pleasant thank you she couldnt even muster an audible reaponse and fluttered away as fast as she could”
