Are you looking for a fairy godmother to dress you from head to toe for a special occasion? You’ll find her at Maison Marcelle Boutique in Haddonfield! After months of frustration searching for a mother-of-the-bride dress, I scheduled an appointment — and Andrea and her associate truly worked magic. They closed the shop to focus completely on finding not just the right fit, but the perfect dress for me. Andrea even helped me choose the ideal bag and earrings to complete the look. I left with everything I needed for my daughter’s big day — plus a wonderful boost of confidence thanks to their kindness and encouragement. ✨
I’ll certainly be back soon to check out the rest of the boutique! Thank you so much!

A true hidden gem in Haddonfield! This charming little boutique offers a beautifully curated selection of clothing from France, and every piece is truly unique. I always receive compliments whenever I wear something from here. If you're shopping for a special occasion, I highly recommend making an appointment—Andrea, the owner, will even close the shop to give you her full attention. She often pulls exclusive pieces from her inventory that aren’t even on display. It’s such a great customer experience that feels like such an anomaly these days. Her eye for style and fit is incredible—she really knows what will look great on you! Lastly her accessories are so much fun and just as unique and very reasonably priced.

Maison Marcelle Boutique in Haddonfield is truly a gem! 🌟 Small but mighty, this shop is filled with carefully curated pieces that feel both timeless and unique. Every item tells a story, and you can tell the owner pours so much love and intention into selecting each collection. The boutique has that warm, inviting atmosphere where you immediately feel welcomed, and the service is personal and attentive without being overwhelming.
Whether you’re looking for something chic for everyday wear or a standout piece for a special occasion, Maison Marcelle delivers with style and charm. It’s the kind of place that makes shopping feel like an experience instead of just a task. Highly recommend stopping by—you won’t leave empty-handed (or uninspired)!

This is a wonderful boutique where I have purchased multiple outfits for weddings and formal events. The owner is the most beautiful soul and friendly spirit, she makes your time in her store a personalized unique shopping experience, not just a purchase. I look forward to wearing my most recent purchase at a wedding in two weeks. Here are a few photos of a beautiful tutu skirt that I had fun wearing in multiple different ways. Thank you, Maison Marcelle I will be back

I visited this lovely looking store today but quickly felt uncomfortable from the womans rude and judgmental attitude. I took a picture of a pair of heels my sister thought were really cool that she wanted to come back and buy. The woman told us we aren’t allowed to take pictures in a again rude tone. I suggest putting a sign up that says that. We left immediately after and had no interest in spending any money there anymore. There’s another review mentioning the rude older woman up at the front and I’m sure it was the same woman. Just rude and miserable …faire mieux 💋

I went to this boutique a few months ago and would give it zero stars if I could. The experience was fun, the shop owner knows her inventory and helped me pick out a dress for a wedding I was going to. The owner claimed all her clothes were from Paris, and that she flew to Paris many times a year and brought back the lastest Parisian fashion. The dress ended up being $150. When I got home, I noticed that the tag on the back of the dress was cut out, and noticed another tag that said it was polyester and made in China. I thought that was weird so I searched the dress on Google lens and found the exact same dress (every detail was the same) on Amazon for $30. I called the shop to see if I could return the dress and the shop owner said that she does not take returns ever, at all, and that this was explained to me before I bought the dress. It absolutely was not explained, she never once mentioned a return policy. I looked up other reviews of the business and I'm not the only person who has realized I was scammed. The owner charged a FIVE HUNDRED PERCENT MARKUP on a cheap Amazon costume dress! Will never be returning and watch out for this business! The owner will likely comment on my review saying this is false, but whoever reads this review please understand who has more stake in making sure her business seems legit....

It’s impossible to describe Maison Marcelle. It’s definitely not a store to buy clothes. It’s a place to experience more than even just buying. Also, the best experience that you can have is when you have time because it takes a while for the store owner Andrea to get to know you your style your fit and then she will slowly start bringing out things for you to try that you would have never found on your own and you will never find another store.
This place is like a second home for us now where we know, we will find one of a kind pieces in the most endearing and nurturing environment. My family and I stop by even without the intention of ever buying anything and often not buying anything. Andrea’s honest with her opinion and will even recommend not buying something if she thinks it doesn’t suit you the best that it can.
My favorite thing to do is to ask her what should I try on today?
It’s an experience not to be missed.

I stopped by while visiting family in the area, and the experience was surprisingly unpleasant. The woman running the store—whether she’s the owner or manager, I’m not sure—was noticeably rude to me and my friends. From the moment we walked in, she gave off a pretentious attitude and didn’t acknowledge us beyond a glance. There was no greeting, no offer to assist, nothing—just a cold, judgmental energy, as if we didn’t fit her idea of the “right” clientele based on how we were dressed.
Instead of engaging with us or asking if we needed help, she seemed more interested in casually dropping that she had just returned from France. Ironically, we were actually shopping for dresses for a wedding and had every intention of spending money—but the dismissive vibe was enough to make us walk out.
Also worth noting: the influx of glowing five-star reviews seems a little too conveniently timed. If you scroll down a bit, older reviews paint a very different—and much more accurate—picture. Ours wasn’t an isolated experience. Several other reviewers have pointed out the same issues with her cold demeanor and unwelcoming attitude. Several other reviewers have pointed out the same issues with her cold demeanor and unwelcoming attitude. The recent five-star reviews don’t tell the whole story—scroll down or filter the reviews by rating, and you’ll see the lower-star feedback that paints a very different picture. It’s hard not to suspect she asked friends to post glowing reviews to push the negative ones out of sight. It all comes across as incredibly disingenuous.

Maison Marcellé is a unique secondhand boutique located in Haddonfield. Upon entering, you are whisked away to Andréa’s love and vision of France. I’ve found some investment pieces here and appreciate the attention and care the owner puts in meeting your fashion needs. She is also transparent enough to suggest other businesses if her shop doesn’t carry what you are looking for. Andréa has helped my sister find her dream prom dress and as I get to know her, I’m touched by her love for fashion and care for community. She also puts effort into carrying modest dresses which can be hard to find. The boutique is a charming place to find one-of-a-kind gifts or to schedule a private appointment to shop with the owner’s expertise and attention.

Maison Marcelle is an absolute gem and one of my favorite places to shop. It’s a BIPOC-owned boutique with a truly welcoming atmosphere and an owner who is both kind and incredibly knowledgeable about vintage fashion.
The owner personally hand-selects pieces during trips to Paris and it shows. Everything feels thoughtfully curated and the quality is exceptional. As a plus-size shopper it means so much to find a store that carries beautiful size-inclusive vintage clothing that actually fits and flatters.
I’ve found so many unique gifts here too from accessories and candles to perfumes and little treasures that make perfect presents. It’s not just a clothing store—it’s a place full of charm and inspiration.
She also carries stunning special occasion pieces. I’ve found outfits here for weddings opera nights and even formal events. My wardrobe is full of pieces from this shop because I know I’ll always find something elegant and timeless.
There’s a warmth and care in everything about this store. Maison Marcelle isn’t just a place to shop—it’s a place to feel seen and styled with intention.

I came across this boutique years ago when I moved to haddonfield. After living near Paris and visiting frequently for years, I found it to be such a beautiful homage to the city from this side of the pond.
I brought my wife soon after who adored the store and could hardly resist buying something even when we went “just to look.” Andrea always made it a joy to the visit the shop. She greets us like family every time we stop by. When we weren’t exactly sure what we wanted, she always ushered us towards the perfect thing.
One of the best experiences with her was when my wife (then fiance) was shopping for wedding dresses and found the perfect vintage dress to be part of our wedding memories forever. My wife couldn’t stop talking about how much fun the personalized fitting process was.
I can’t recommend the shop or Andrea enough and will keep visiting as long as she’s there!
