“Matko boska! The selection and prices here are very good. I will return to this establishment and Polish district overall. I would however check the expiration date on things to make sure they aren't already expired before you buy. I bought about 50 items and I only found 1 or 2 that were expired but a few that would be expiring within the next 60 days. The other problem here is the lady that works there is from the communist Poland era so don't expect any good customer service skills. She seems annoyed at having to work here and isn't willing to help much, probably didn't get any Biden bucks.”

“This is the very cleanest Bodega I've seen all my life it's nice and clean of course they use gloves and these are very polite people. The only thing is they don't have too much of what you need like for instance sandwich bread they don't have it. Don't have bread to make sandwiches and they have my favorite the Italian bread or French bread. Like I said my favorite part is they're very clean. Prices what could I say at the times you're at I can't complain we are struggling. Can't wait till the economy goes down. But it won't because what goes up in the economy stays up. Nice big super market very affordable nice and clean environment. Also used to have self check out registers. Please make sure to have the receipt.
You can purchase for bags if you don't bring your own bags. Again though if you don't do that, at check-out they put your stuff in a shopping cart that doesn't move, so you have to take your stuff out of the shopping cart for the next person to use.
Provide a bagging area with counter space to organize and bag your own groceries.
Please remember to bring your own reusable shopping bags. You can buy the Aldi reusable bags, insulated bags... Make sure to ask how much the bags cost.
To use a cart, will need a quarter.
When are done shopping, please take the cart back to the cart corral and connect the cart back to the others and get quarter back.
Please return carts to the designated area.”

In general, better pricing than most stores. (Though the difference is not as much as they used to be. For example the chocolate chips used to be at least a dollar cheaper than ShopRites brand. Now it’s only about 25¢. The chocolate chips are VERY good!!! )”
“I love Food Universe. It’s been under new management for just over a year and now, it’s a great place to shop. The staff is professional and friendly. I go there first thing in the morning sometimes to grab breakfast essentials (because life lol) and no matter the time of day, they’re welcoming and kind. I’m really happy that I live so close so I can shop small and local regularly and in a pinch. They also have 5 gallon bottled water in the front which is a big deal for our family. Quick and convenient.”
