The new location is great but the cashier isn’t… 😅 I usually don’t complain about employees but I was actually in awe of the employee that rang me out today. And not in a good way. I hate using self checkouts and there was a guy at the register so I walked up to him and he’s watching an instagram live, the phone was laying on the counter so I could see it. I say hello and he doesnt look up. I wait like 15 awkwardly long seconds and he still says absolutely nothing and doesn’t acknowledge me at all. He’s just still watching this live on his phone. He doesnt have headphones in either so he definitely heard me. And no way he didn’t see me. I was debating just turning around and using self checkout and he finally puts a hand out reaching for the stuff I’m holding and kinda looks up and says hi. I hand him the stuff and he begins to scan it but looks back down at the live and continues to watch and doesnt acknowledge me again. Never tells me a total or anything. Just asks if I want a bag at the end and I say no and grab my receipt and leave. It was so weird. I’ve worked customer service for 7 years. I’m not against being on ur phone at work. I get it, works boring and slow sometimes and you did everything you needed to do. But watching a video in front of customers and ignoring customers for the video is just rude and blatantly weird. Customers come first. They shouldn’t see you on the phone and when a customer walks up to u, you put your phone down. You don’t continue to use it and ignore them. Or continue to watch a video while ringing out a customer. This was May 19th around 2:35 ish maybe

my friend & i were in racially profiled at this store by an individual who claimed her name was “destiny”. Not only did she not allow us to use the self checkout without her watching & scanning things herself, there was a woman next to us checking herself out with no problem & not a word was said to her. if you are black i suggest you find another store.

Nice place with a selection of essentials and fun items. Some stuff I wouldn't buy for 5 dollars, the store doesn't stay true to its name as it once did before. But I would admit it's a good staple to get somewhat decent stuff. Cool neat stuff in here though, especially for college students. Very glad they got some collectible items in there too.
