Tyler and Dave came out and did a thorough inspection and cleaning of the fireplace and chimney. Tyler took the time to walk me through the report and gave me some tips on maintaining and caring for the wood burning insert. I feel ready for the winter season and really appreciate the time and effort these two put in.

Mercer Chimney to the rescue! We called in MCCS for a level 2 inspection of our chimneys that an unnamed contractor had just finished working on during the previous weeks, including the complete replacement of the chimney servicing our furnace. We already pretty much knew shoddy, half-@ssed work had occurred after we climbed on the roof and inspected it ourselves. The previous contractor had really made a mess of things.
MCCS’ inspection revealed in detail the shoddy half-@ssed work by the previous contractor. The flue tile mortaring was found to be substandard and a metal liner was fitted. All of the flashing had to be removed and re-installed properly. The gaps between the chimney and house siding were caulked and sealed properly. The first contractor had promised waterproofing but MCCS’ inspection found no waterproofing sealant had been applied at all.
All in all Mercer Chimney did an excellent job making all the necessary repairs. They are professionals who do quality work. They will answer any questions you may have and office manager Holly is awesome. We only wish we had known about them and hired them in the first place.

If you need chimney work, this is the company to use. From the first conversation to the completion of the work, everything was handled professionally. I got texted when the crew was on their way, they showed up on time, and everyone was professional, respectful of us and our home. No shouting, cursing, or miserable workers. The job turned out great and I couldn’t be more satisfied with this company. A+

This process has been the best I have experience, I am talking from the individuals who answer the telephone, for my first inquiry, to the guys who actually did the work on my Chimney. James and his crew was outstanding. They were respectable and professional from the start of the project, removing my old chimney and installing the new one. We recently hired Mercer County Chimney sercices to rescure bird in the chimney. However, the work was not completed & we were charged for services that were not perfomed. All we got was some pictures which are of no use. We still hear the birds chirp. When we reached out again, no efforts were made to address the issue. We ended up paying 325$ for nothing... Will not recommend their service. Will never hire them again.

I had an issue with my furnace, which revealed a chimney issue. On a recommendation from the furnace guy, I called Mercer County Chimney Services. They were wonderful! They were able to have someone(s) over to the house within the hour and did a thorough job. They were professional, polite, respectful of me and my house and very knowledgeable.
