November 2024 by Monica F Brown
Hello. I have donated to the organization for many years. I had a donation scheduled for pickup on November 8th. I called at around 5:30pm to inquire about the status, since I noticed they had not come. The representative said he had received other calls about them being behind. The drivers never came. He rescheduled the pick up for the 12th. When I saw it was almost 6 pm and the labeled boxes were still not picked up, I called again. The lady was apologetic but didn't know why they didn't show up to pick up my boxes. She told me to wait for a call, but I never received a call about the issue. Needless to say, this will be my last time donating for a while since the pickup process has now been so inconsistent.

Never showed up, and when I called to inquire why, I was told they have no idea and can’t reschedule for a week. (Keep in mind that they require all items to be OUTSIDE) When I explained that wasn’t doable, the rep became extremely rude and hung up on me. A shame, as I was glad to donate to a veterans organization.

I scheduled a truck to come to my house for a pickup. I confirmed the night before. I lugged 25 boxes and bags outside for the pickup today. At 5:45 I called to see where the truck was. I was told that they probably were not going to be coming because it was almost 6pm. I asked if they could be reached and I was told NO! Doesn’t Everyone have a cell phone these days. I was offered to reschedule a new pickup day, but not for a whole other week. I am utterly disappointed. I now have to bring back inside all my donations. Why was I not informed. Very upset!

They never showed up at my (deceased) Mom's residence in the Princeton area even though we were on the schedule. And they didn't even contact us to let us know until after 5, after I made three phone calls. It turns out they decided to skip us because of a full truck. So I had to drive back to my mom's house and lug all the boxes and bags into another place in the dark.

People who shop there are rude they are in your space and don't give you any space to move around they're the only ones that are important. I think the prices are so high. These items are donated for free to them, and they charge so much for them. I'd rather buy new.

We have all been through difficult situations and here you can find everything from clothing, footwear, to toys, tools, appliances and there are items in good condition, others perhaps not very good but it is the offer that you take a chance on, in my case I bought a recliner for 35 dollars and it is In very good condition apart from the fact that I only fixed a broken cable and it is also used to give massages.
