“J&L is my go to, Joe and his team are amazing people who genuinely care about their customers. You won’t get better service, better quality auto work, or better welding done ANYWHERE. Many mechanics have attempted to rip me off, talk down to me, ask where “my man is”, or straight up ignore me (hmm I wonder why) but I’ve never felt treated unfairly by anyone here. If I don’t know something, it’s explained just like it would be to anyone. They even weld aluminum, and they do it perfectly! I once spent two whole days searching for someone to weld a cracked aluminum rim for me before I started coming here.
There are a ton of people with different professional backgrounds and different expertise, so they have the ability to take on pretty much any job. This place is a melting pot of knowledge. I’ve even asked for references for someone to work on my home and Joe knew a guy he could send out in less than a week. The job was completed before another company I had contacted scheduled the estimate for.
And a quick side note, the entire lot is really cool to walk around. Old cars (at one point they had one on top of the building), a fence made from massive tanks, a “pergola from hell,” vintage auto books galore, 18 wheelers filled with antiques, a few cats, a few dogs, and a bird.. this place has massive personality.

“I was driving down the AC expressway and hit a deer at 60 mph. Needless to say, it caused a ton of damage to the car. My insurance company recommended Action Auto. I am so glad they did. This is a family run operation and they actually care about the work they do. All throughout the process, Chris always kept me in the loop. When I went to pick it up, I was blown away. It looks better than when I had it before, and it only had 8300 miles on it at that time. It drives fantastic and the entire process was easy.
