TOOK 27 MINUTES to get acknowledged and have water poured - and that’s after asking if we were going to get any wait staff to help take care of us. Never waited that long at a steakhouse ever. Many tables around us shared in our frustration on the timing, looking around to see if anyone was coming.Porterhouse for 2 was cooked medium rare as asked and up to expectations. Shoshito peppers and brussel sprouts could’ve been crispier, but perhaps that’s just a personal preference.I got the smoked whiskey cocktail and hats off to them putting the effort into making such a drink, but being an amateur mixologist myself, the smoke was overwhelming as expected and diminished the cocktail - again just my 2 cents.Steak was good, waitress was super friendly and honestly trying her best (all staff was delightful honestly), but if your paying NYC prices and not getting the top tier NYC steakhouse service, then personally I can’t justify a return. You can’t simply set the bar at waiting nearly 30 minutes to see your waiter/waitress for the first time of the night after making reservations.

Excellent food. And a lot of it. You can easily share a meal and appetizer and leave very FULL!!!

This place NEVER misses. The food is always a 10, and the service is great. Owners are always around to say hello. This is hands down my favorite steak house dare I say resteraunt...full stop. In a world full of choices, this is my number 1.

1. Food is a little on the pricey side yet tastes very good. We ordered our porthouse medium but it came out more medium-well. I simply mentioned this to our waitress. She questioned it and her response was NOT what I expected when I'm paying for a good meal.2. Playing with the lights while we're dining...not a fan3. Hostess was awesome and very attentive. 4. I recommend this place, but be prepared to pay NYC prices.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

Great food and service but the overhead lights which the staff said could not be turned down ruin the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Our experience was suboptimal. The restaurant was not full and the service was poor. No one refilled our water glasses, no return to the table to ask if we wanted another cocktail, no return to see how our food was prepared or if we had any concerns, our glasses of wine arrived, after inquiring twice during our meal, when we were 3/4 done eating. All our food was tasty and I have no complaints about that. However, for a restaurant that charges NYC prices, the service does not on par. I was very disappointed.

Service was very good, atmosphere fair, noise level very loud but expected due to the holiday season. Price - way overpriced for the area. Appetizers: excellent, Rib Eye steaks inconsistent. Overall rating: Fair to Good.

Went for dinner 1st time tonight ordered the 44z porterhouse with my friend with Maple Bacon (no fat) with the Tuna Avocado tower appetizer. steak cooked perfectly with great taste melted in your mouth. The Maple bacon was a generous portion, and the service was excellent and honest which is always good.

There were so many things wrong with our dinner that I don't know where to begin. Salad had way too much dressing on it My wife said her hamburger wasn't very good. The Prime Wednesday special was NOT special. Vegetables were undercooked, Steak was mediocre, potatoes lacked flavor. They must have turned off the heat after 9:00pm as we finished the meal with our jackets on. Not many gluten free options for my wife. They ran out of the dessert we ordered. Prices were ridiculously high for the value. I should have listened to my friend and gone somewhere else.

Porterhouse and Tomahawk could have been bigger with a less fatty piece, for the price we paid. Service and ambience was outstanding, food taste was delicious. Our only complaint was the size and piece we got was not the standards of the price we paid. Drinks were phenomenal.

The food and service here is amazing. If I didn’t fear bankruptcy I’d hear everyday. The only place I’ve been able to get a perfectly made and flavorful pork chop. I’d eat it over some of the nicer steaks I’ve gotten at other restaurants. Can’t go wrong with the appetizers and the staff are fantastic.

Came in for my birthday last night and was kind of disappointed. We got the Brussels sprouts appetizer and it was drowned in this very heavy, sticky, sweet, overly spicy glaze. After the appetizer I had a stomach ache and felt like I just ate too much corn syrup and chili. I must have downed 5 glasses of water between the appetizer and entrees. Then the entrees and side came out: my girlfriend played it safe and got chicken parm which was tasty and hefty, as expected. I ordered the 22 oz ribeye med rare and it came out hardly seared, cold/blue rare on the inside, and was so tough/ full of gristle that my plate kept moving around while cutting it. I took a few bites and it tasted okay but after a waitress agreed it was undercooked, I asked them to just cook it a little more. When they brought it back it was still pretty cool on the inside and not quite med rare. While I don’t mind that too much, at $75 per steak I feel like it should come out cooked the way it was ordered. For a side we ordered the roasted potatoes and long hots. Potatoes were delicious and perfectly cooked. However, the long hots were extremely spicy and inedible for us. I have a decent spice tolerance and eat spicy food often, but one bite from these peppers set my mouth on fire and numbed my tastebuds for a good 15 minutes. I feel like a warning should be posted on the menu, especially considering how many families with children were eating there. I could only really eat a couple more bites from my steak after that and we just took the rest to go.Also the windows were all covered with black blinds and the tables were so close together, just making the whole place feel so tight. It wasn’t for me but I guess opinions on atmosphere are more subjective. The staff was nice and the manhattan that I drank was pretty good. The food was just too disappointing and not really worth the $200 we spent for us to come back.

Went there to celebrate my boyfriend's bday and it was not what I expected at all. If I am paying $300 for two I'm expecting good service and good food. The host was honestly the best thing there, when we walked in I told her we were celebrating a birthday if they could please bring out a candle with the dessert and she said "no problem, I already see it in our system" great.Once we sat down it took the waitress about 20minutes to take our order, other than the fact she had an attitude most of the time and barely came around asking if we needed anything else. We saw everyone else get bread with butter to start off and we had to ask another waitress to please bring us some because our waitress had not bothered. Once we got the bread the butter was extremely melted pure liquid. We ordered the bacon to start which was okay but a bit too sweet for our taste. We ordered the porterhouse for two (medium) once we got the steak it was more on the rare side and had barely any flavor. For sides we got the truffles fries and Mac and cheese which were good. Once our waitress FINALLY decided to come by and ask if we wanted some dessert we chose the apple one and once we received it I expected the candle to celebrate my bf but nope we never got it. Overall the experience was not good and I would NOT go back. There are a lot better places I could spend $300 for food!
