“My daughter and my now son-in-law were married at the Pleasantdale Chateau on 1/19/2024. To sum up our experience in one word-Perfection! From the moment we arrived until our departure 24 hours later every detail was handled with precision and courtesy by the fabulous Pleasantdale Chateau staff. There was not one thing that was overlooked. From the bridal and groom attendants, Michelle and Jen; to the banquet manager, Bryan; to the captains, Iker, Jonathan, Luis and Tori, and to all the staff who greeted our guests and looked after them during the reception, your service was exceptional. We were so very impressed by your professional and friendly manner. As one guest told me this event was “Perfect white glove service. When I got up to dance I returned to my seat to a refolded napkin and a reorganized place setting. When they delivered dinner they knew exactly what meal went where. That staff was the best trained and most professional catering staff I have ever seen. Captains constantly on the floor overseeing and communicating. Really flawless service in my opinion. A truly well oiled machine. “ So many of our guests sang the praises of the food, staff, the setting and the overall atmosphere. Many claimed it was the best wedding they ever attended. “VERY cute and cozy place for coffee. Interior is extremely quiet, relaxed, and laid-back - it's the best "third space" I've found in the area. I come here multiple times a week for the chill atmosphere, delicious drinks, and exceptionally friendly staff (Nicole is the best!). Highly recommend!”

“I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place”

“MO’s Banquet Hall is top notch! I would recommend this hall to anyone looking for a place to throw a party. Max is amazing and very helpful made my daughter’s Sweet 16 run smoothly and took the stress off of me and I was able to enjoy the night. The bartenders were amazing no complaints the photographer and videographer captured beautiful pictures and so attentive all night! If you are looking for a place this is it a one stop shop..Max again thank you for your service and your dedication and for making my daughter’s Sweet 16 a night we won’t ever forget!”

“Went there for a weekend lunch for the 1st time. Food was very good. Lumis salad was terrific & our two pasta dishes were tasty and hot. Service was very professional and attentive. As far as value, no discounted menu for lunch which was ok but I would only likely return there for dinner.”

“My husband and I had our wedding here in February 2024. It was exactly what we wanted and our family and friends were blown away. The staff were so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. We loved all the food and the cocktail hour was awesome. Our guests are still talking about it. This was the first venue we ever saw and the second we walked in the venue we instantly knew it was the one and we did not look anywhere else. The venue is beautiful. We want to give a special thank you to the outstanding staff especially the bridal attendant and maître d'. “My experience at the restaurant was a bit overwhelming due to the noise and crowded atmosphere, especially on a Friday night with live music. Despite the tight arrangement of tables making it difficult to move around, the food and service were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian dish with pasta and plan on returning for it. My friends also loved their salmon dishes and couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. Overall, while the ambiance was not to my liking, the quality of the food and service made up for it.”

“I recently hosted a baby shower/gender reveal at The Women’s Club of Glen Ridge and I’m so happy with our choice of venue. Elizabeth was so accommodating and open to all of my ideas for the event. She was always available and helpful from the day we toured until the day of the event. We were able to set up the day before because the venue was not hosting anything the day before my event. It doesn’t get better than that. When we went to set up is when I met Luis. He is marvelous. He was like 10 people in 1. Whatever we needed he made it happen. And what he didn’t have he found a way to get it. I can’t wait to book here again and work with these wonderful people and their beautiful venue. Luis is truly an angel and made our day perfect.”

“I want to give you the highest grade I can give.50 out of 5 stars.The atmosphere is great and the food is great.In particular, I don't think I'll ever forget the soup. Crab soup and clam soup are both excellent. Try them all.The steak is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.The staff is very friendly, so I would like to give it the highest score out of all the restaurants I've been to in the US.Definitely go and see, eat and see.”

“As far as medium/large venues go, this is a really good one. I think of it as the Irving Plaza of Jersey City, except it has much better sound, and possibly better sight lines. Very decent sound system in fact, would return here for other shows. Unwound gave a great performance here.”

“I HIGHLY recommend RAIN. My daughter’s bat mitzvah was epic. Scott and Miriam covered every detail making it so easy and simple to throw a smooth and fun event. The DJ, emcee and dancers were incredible and had the whole crowd - from ages 2 to 52 dancing for the Bat Mitzvah girl- they just get it! And the space is so easy to customize to your own look. The parking made it very easy for our city friends to pull up and have a blast!! Thank you so much Scott and Miriam!!”

“My wife and I attended a concert at SOPAC featuring the Roy Hargrove Big Band. The venue and hospitality were very nice. It was an easy experience from buying tickets online to being seated in the auditorium. And of course the show was awesome. World class artists. Musically amazing AND fun!”

“We were looking for a last minute fun thing to do for my birthday. We had planned to go there but from the website couldn’t really understand if it was open on Tuesdays or not. I called & luckily they said they had another group coming at 5pm so we could come then if we wanted to. Kevin was great he made the whole experience more fun & helped guide you through what you wanted to do. The green faded a lot more than I thought it would and my hat had more white than I realized ? but they are still cute & it was super fun none the less!”

“We had my grandfather's 100th birthday ? this past weekend there. Everything was great, except they had no valet parking. I'd recommend valet parking for events with sitting guests in the future.Parking: There was plenty of parking. However, they had no valet, and I prefer valet parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes, they were kids friendly. The waitresses were very professional.”

“went to see "Top Gun: Maverick" on Saturday. This was my first time in a modern theater in over 30+ yrs. It was a very pleasant experience. The tilt back seats with the adjustment controls was by far the most comfortable theatre experience I've ever had. I would definitely come back for the right movie. The only negative was having to watch the 4 or 5 clips of upcoming movies beforehand, all of which I thought were crappy. Top Gun was great.14 Jan 24. Went to see "The Beekeeper" but skipped all of the up coming movie clips this time. We had reserve seats and sat in the center of the last row. Seats were very comfortable as last time and I could see it would be very easy to fall asleep if your movie was boring. No complaints, excellent movie experience”

“My 1st time at this theater but I won't rush to come back. It is a historic theater and although renovations had been done some VERY important 1s can't be done. I was walking with a cane after just having surgery on my leg. Foundout when arriving I'm in the mezzanine level. ALL STAIRS no elevator, not handicap accessible. Also parking is TIGHT if you aren't very early. The staff seemed friendly and we moved in quickly. Nice looking building.”

“From the minute we walked in with our reservations are table was ready for us. Everything was fresh and amazing . The crab cake , calamari,and shrimp appetizer were amazing. I had the Lambchops ( which were recommended by the waiter) , they didn't disappoint and were cooked to perfection. The rest of my party had nothing but praises for there dishes and no one brought home any left overs because everything was eaten.Waiter was verygood also but his name escapes me.”

“The Live Loft is a multi use space. I went there for a surprise birthday, and the space was clean and ready to be decorated. The area is an industrial business area so parking is available but can be difficult. When going to the loft space, keep in mind you have to walk up a flight of stairs and then to the specific room/loft. The bathroom is a walk down the hall that can seem far to some. The bathroom was clean. The loft itself is clean and in good condition, it can definitely fit 20-30 ppl but keep in mind if you add tables or other things it will shrink the space. Overall, I'm giving this space a 7 and would return.”

Your energy is contagious and seeing your smiling face the morning of my wedding was all I needed to know our day was going to be perfect. My bridal attendant Alexandra ... where do I begin?! She was absolutely phenomenal. She anticipated my needs, made sure I ate and drank (both water and champagne), removed random stains that appeared throughout the day, bustled my dress in what felt like 30 seconds, and made sure everything was perfect.We knew the food and drinks were going to be fantastic from the raving reviews we heard through family and friends - but the LW blew us away. People STILL talk about how good the food was and I'm sure they will for years to come. From the tasting 2-3 months before, you are hidden on-site and try everything that couple is having that wedding night. Most of the options we ended up choosing for our own wedding, too! (pro tip- get the beef lo mein station!!!) Having our cocktail hour food set up for us with our signature drinks the moment our ceremony ended was such a blessing. We ate and giggled and we were simply in awe at how perfect it all was just before freshening up and entering our reception.The staff at the LW executed an absolutely perfect evening and timeline. They coordinated dances and dinner with our band, ensured the bridal party was where they needed to be and when, and took care of our parents, grandparents, etc. all day long. From the valet and bathroom attendants, to the coordinators and management, and whoever helped gather my belongings at the end of the night - thank you, THANK YOU, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, our wedding day was absolutely, undeniably perfect. I'd recommend the Liberty Warehouse for any upscale event and can chat about it for hours on end.”
