“Our experience with Peace4Paws was amazing. We had applied to adopt a pup last year that had been spoken for, but we were able to join their waitlist and got frequent updates about incoming rescues. We were lucky enough to find our perfect dog this January. The communication was always fast, and I felt comfortable in the organization as a whole. We love our forever dog, buttons, so so much and are so thankful for their help in bringing her into our lives.”

For me, the curation and selection are unique enough to place Printed Matter in its own category. Think of extremely limited press runs combined with high quality presentation and intriguing subject matter. No NYC bookstore tour would be complete without a stop at Printed Matter.”

“My 2 year old started going to this school this year and he loves it, I am really happy with the outcome that I started to see in my child he’s learning colors counting ABC, the teachers are amazing and the staff from the main office are so nice!! I love it I’m so glad my son had the opportunity to get into this school ??!!”
“Such a nice house. I went there to attend the 20th Bruce Boyer Chess tournament and woe what a place. Inside is very warm and cozy. The architectural details inside the house are awesome. I highly recommend to visit when you have a chance.”
“Amazing hub for out of town runners like me who want to run in Central Park. Lockers, water fountain, changing rooms, and bathroom all kept clean by hardworking cleaning staff. The employees I’ve interacted with are all helpful and friendly. Be aware there are no showers, but I always bring disposable XL “shower” wipes.”

“I am visiting NYC and staying on the upper east side. My friend was on a work call so I ventured out for a walk on this beautiful day. I walked down 87st and it led me here. I knew I was headed towards something great as I saw so many dogs walking in the same direction. The park was on the water and was such a refreshing scene from the city streets I just walked down. There were tons of people playing pickle ball. People chilling on park benches and just an overall good vibe. I didn't get pics of any dogs because I was petting them. :)”

“Very decent nature center and system of trails around it (see Avenza or AllTrails for precise navigation). Unfortunately mid-July situation with mosquitoes is horrible, just too many of them to enjoy the trails.”
“I take kung fu classes here, the master is one of the best I've seen and had. The facilities themselves are also very nice and there are a lot of different programs for the kids.”
“I can not say enough about this place it's guests and volunteers. Toni's has groceries, delivery service, lunch meals, backpack program and a Second Time Around Shop. As a sometimes volunteer I always feel welcomed and appreciated. It also is in a pretty setting.”
“The Montclair Y is awesome, it's very family friendly, it has 2 pools available, the family swim schedule isn't confusing or unavailable like other YMCAs. The sauna is at 160f vs other YMCAs at 140. Overall the Montclair Y is a cut above others in the area”
“First time I walked into Bottomless closet I received very good resume assistance, I also had 2 outfits for my jobs interview coming up, two months later I got a job and they gave me 3 more outfits of my preference. The staff are the best, they take their time with each client. Really recommended.”

“The wilderness job readiness class with Keith and Mike was a success! Both of them are great instructors. I got a job less than a month after coming home from a 5 year bid. We went to a job fair and I was recruited by Guns Down Life Up to be a youth mentor. So give thanks to Keith, Mike and the whole Exodus community!”
“The Ridgewood Women's club is an absolutely beautiful venue that I highly recommend to anyone. My wife and I threw a baby shower the size of a wedding there (140-150 people), and the event space was perfect for it. The women who run the club are professional, responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and we can't thank them enough. Everyone should look into this place for a large event. You won't be disappointed.”
“So we went there to possibly look at puppies but for small animals u have to make an appointment but the lovely Chris was kind enough to let us browse because we drove out from NY, she's a very passionate lady she loves animals and she's very direct in a jovial kinda away. I have to say these facilities were very clean the animals looked happy and lively with lots of room to run and play all in all if she does get more puppies we will go back ? ❤️”

“National Sawdust is a visual treat. The concert I most recently attended was set up in their extremely intimate cabaret set up, but I have done standing room shows in the venue too. It’s always comfortable, and there is no bad view in the house. The acoustics and speaker design are also perfect, ensuring you hear everything with precision. This is, hands down, one of the best venues in NYC and the world!”

“We got displaced due to a fire. We were scared, confused and tired. We really appreciate the good people that took or information when we got displaced due to a fire. The gentleman even asked me the name of my cats while we were waiting for the firefighters to put out the fire. I was so worried about if they would be able to stop the fire before it made it to our apartment. They were even able to find us a hotel that was pet friendly. They followed up with us when we needed an extension from the city at the hotel. Thank you to Christan for all of her kindness and patience. People were angry and just as stressed as we were. Christian explained things to us and we understood what The Red Cross does. She called to follow up with us. We appreciate her so, so, so much and are thankful for sitting with her that day. We appreciate The Red Cross for being so caring and empathy.”
“Came here to pass some time, got a delicious coffee & rhubarb scone. Very, very busy place….lots of loud kids and dogs, and then there is the gigantic screen with rotating photos of the city…would likely be quite lovely on a summer day sitting on their porch?”
