I cannot speak highly enough or thank Kundert Volvo enough for their amazing service all around. I should start off with my experience at Ramsey Volvo. I was helped by Mike who was prompt & helpful. My experience at Ramsey took a turn when he went back to get lease numbers from the sales manager Tom. When talking to Mike about the numbers he gave me, I told him that I was already quoted at Volvo of Englewood for lower than what he gave me. When Mike went back to the sales manager again, Tom then came out to talk to us himself. Tom talked to me & my husband personally to tell us that we were lying & numbers like what we were previously quoted on did not exist. He still refused to believe it even when we showed him the paperwork. He was speaking to us in a condescending way that it made both me & my husband uncomfortable. I was appalled that anyone would speak to a potential customer in this manner. Our conversation was short & ended with him turning us away & saying then we should just leave & go get those numbers. There was no room for negotiation nor did they even want to make a sale, which was fine by me because I do not want to do business with anyone who treats people in such a negative manner.I then went to my third Volvo dealership which was Kundert Volvo in Hasbrouck Heights. I was greeted by the woman working at the front desk who connected me with Bernie. Bernie has worked at the Volvo dealership for almost 40+ years & it shows in the way that he truly cares about his job. Bernie went over the numbers with me to ensure I got what I was looking for. He knew the price point that I wanted to spend & was able to assist me in getting there meanwhile he was patient the entire time. He was very thorough so that I was able to understand every little expensense that I put down. Aside from Kundert Volvo giving me an absolutely amazing deal & beating out both Ramsey & Englewood Volvo dealerships, what they really won me on was how they treated me. Not only was Bernie very charismatic but he built a relationship with me & my husband. I can only see myself getting cars from them in the future because of how kind Bernie & all of the other staff members were. You can truly tell the difference between this family run & owned dealership compared to other places. I recommend Kundert Volvo for anyone who is looking to get into a Volvo. I also LOVE my new car, thanks Bernie!

The purpose of this letter is to inform Volvo Corporate of the dilatory response regarding the above referenced incident number concerning franchisee, Kundert Volvo of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey USA, having poorly representing the Volvo Corporation by its owners, management and employees in a public relations debacle outlined in subsequent pages of this communication. I am aghast that Volvo USA maintains the stance that it is strictly a dealer issue. As a retiree of a distinguished corporation, #33 - #38 of (USA) Fortune 500, we stressed the following values: ethics, respectful in all customer/cultural relationships around the world, proper stewardship of company resources, being considerate of competitors, fairness and honesty in all dealings and so forth. Employees exercised proper etiquette outside of the workplace so as not to besmirch the corporate image. This mindset always carried over to dealings with vendors, in this instance Kundert Volvo on the personal level.A courtesy loaner was signed out for an expected duration of one day, for routine maintenance; the service adviser noted additional items for servicing with consent being approved. It should be noted that two business days would suffice for the entire service call. I enjoyed driving the 2022 S60 loaner for five calendar days that my car was kept by Kundert Volvo. Because of the unwarranted delays in servicing our automobile; a dilemma was created with the loaner as fuel was running low, necessitating a visit to the gasoline station. While the Kundert Volvo Loaner Agreement discouraged refueling, I believed that it was the correct thing to do. Upon tendering over the loaner, I casually mentioned that $20 was expended on gasoline with a reasonable expectation that an adjustment to the final repair bill would be cheerfully given, considering the circumstances. Michael Mazzaro, Jr. of Kundert Volvo refused to consider that the 2022 S60 would run out of gas on the interstate, the New York Thruway, while returning home. Instead of acknowledging proper care of the loaner vehicle and personal safety issues, Michael Mazzaro, Jr. and Michael Mazzaro, Sr. (father/son relationship also manager/subordinate relationship at Kundert Volvo) adamantly refused to make an exception to the Kundert Loaner Car Agreement. This well-meaning customer was harassed and made to feel stupid for taking a stance against Kundert Volvo "house policy"; it should be mentioned that the owner, Bill Kundert, refused to intervene at any point of this imbroglio. For multiple reasons, a toxic state of affairs now exists between my household and Volvo, et al. I am grossly disappointed in the lack of oversight by Volvo regarding its franchisees.

I was looking to buy/lease my first car ever. The first day me and my wife went out looking in nyc we came back very discouraged with our experiences. After doing some research it sounded like this was the worst time to be doing all of this. Because of need and necessity we decided to continue looking but I will say we werent hopefully. We ultimately found a car at Kundert on their website and emailed with Yasmeen. She was super helpful and responsive and so one day when we were in the area we decided to stop in and just see if we could see XC60s and test drive them. Yasmeen quickly got us to Bernie and what a blessing that was.Bernie was an amazing person to work with. He wasnt pushy at all and gave us all the facts we were looking for. He found us multiple cars to look at and test drive and broke down different options to lease each one. He never once made us feel uncomfortable about asking all the questions we had nor did he try and push us into anything we didnt feel was right. It seemed like his only goal was to get us into a car we wanted and that we felt comfortable with.When we were ready to go ahead and lease a car we found out that the car we were talking about was actually already signed up for. My wife and I were discouraged but Bernie took action and found us a couple more cars that fit what we were looking for and that would fit the deal we had already agreed on.The car we decided on wasnt ready on the day but Bernie had us put a little money down that was refundable and said for us to come back when it would be take a look and decide then. Wasnt pushing us to sign any lease right there. He was great at communicating the entire time with us as well. When we finally went in he had everything set up ready to go. We had the apps we needed and all the paperwork was pretty much ready to sign. He also makes great videos that you can send to your family and friends about the car you just got.We finally meet with Brad and getting in and out of his office was a breeze. Everything you read on the internet about finance office makes it seem like it will be a big battle and they will try and be sneaky on every level. Ill say that Brad wasnt pushy at all. He answered all of our questions and gave us all the paper work we wanted. He didnt seem to hide anything from us and was just read to give us the deal we agreed on without pushing random extras.Overall I will say this experience was more then what we could have hoped for and by far the best one we had in all of the dealerships we were looking at. I would recommend Bernie, Yasmeen, and Brad to anyone who is looking for a car especially in the market we are in.

I would like to say, I tried two other dealership. Kundert Volvo is the best. They are very nice and helpful to your need. They are not trying to get more money from you. They do whatever it needs to be done. My service advisor was Mike Jr. He is extremely kind always problem solver. I highly recommend this dealership. Thank you Mike Jr.

This is a great place to get an excellent price on a Volvo. Nelson Jimenez responded promptly to our inquiry for an XC90 T6 Momentum with 7 seats and an advanced package. He gave us an incredible price and was honest, quick to respond and very efficient. We spoke to 6-7 dealers in the tri state area and Nelson and Kundert had exceptional value and customer service. Avoid Ramsey at all costs. Arrogant and lazy and tried to undermine other dealers by saying they didn't have cars in stock when they absolutely did.

They deserve 10 stars !!! This dealership was a pleasure from the time I walked in to test drive to the time I was handed the keys to my new car ! They were professional and friendly and assisted me every step of the way ! What a great experience!

I have been leasing cars with Billy Sr and Billy Jr since 2010 and yesterday my Mom bought her first car from them. Both the sales and service department never disappoint. I love my XC60 and would not think of going anywhere else. Superb sales and service with a family feel l. They are truly the best!
