I have replaced four tires, one of it got flat after two weeks and they refuse to use the warranty.
They used three years stored tires.

A supervisor just argued with me in front of everyone because I said the truth of what I saw at that time. That the store had a 2.5 review and I knew why. They give inaccurate wait times, they say they are going to do a break inspection then don’t do it, they don’t give accurate information about prices either until you go in and get charged more. I asked him to stop going back and forth and give me my car and he continued. They need to work on managing their schedule, do what they say they are going to do and except constructive criticism without arguing with customers. Not recommended.

A flat tire is one of the unbearable situations I dislike to find myself in. It's never a dull moment with Pep Boys. They arrived on time and fixed my car, thanks to the adequate team I did not miss my early morning business meeting.

Everyone was very kind to me which I really appreciated ?. They were also very patient with me in multiple ways. They answered all of my questions, especially since I not really savvy when it comes to vehicles ?. They even charged my old battery twice.
Something else I appreciated was that they were kind enough to stay with me till I was able to find a ride back home (my van was going to have to stay).
Kenneth especially showed genuine hospitality. He was very personable, approachable, easy to talk to, genuine, friendly, full of smiles, polite, well-mannered, and respectful.
He made me feel very welcomed. It’s the little things that count for me ??. He was also very considerate of my financial struggles and kindly gave me a discount.
Good business and customer service is not just about being skillful and knowledgeable. It’s especially about how we treat others, starting with a genuine smile. If we as customers truly feel welcomed, then we will totally want to come back ??????.
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your service and for helping me be back on the road ?. I couldn’t have done it without your help. And thanks especially to you Kenneth for being so hospitable. May God bless you for that ??.

I was told “mistakes happen”. This is what the manger Luis stated to me multiple times after I discovered that Pep Boys of Hasbrouck Heights installed the wrong size tires on my relatively new car possibly causing rear differential damage. I requested a refund and accountability but all I got was a run around from the manager and his staff. He refused to talk to the nearby authorized dealer service department. He had me drive back and forth in 90degree weather at 430pm so that I can show him pictures of my car/tires that was parked at dealer service dept. I had the dealer service department on speakerphone but yet he refused to talk to them or help expedite a resolution. I had to wait an hour for this manager only to be told that helping to clarify/correct this situation is not his job. Store manager insisted I bring back my car. He stated he would replace tires and possibly fix the damage caused by the improper sized tires after he obtained approval from corporate. I use this car daily not only to drive my children around but as a hospice nurse as I go from home to home to help others. Pep Boys of Hasbrouck Heights had one job and that was to put on the right tire and to do so correctly but they messed that up and proceeded to provide horrible customer service. They had all the documentation to prove the error was not mine and yet they were unwilling to quickly resolve it. Now they expect me to wait and trust them to do more complicated work on my car. My safety and that of my family is not to be compromised by a corporation that has no problem stating “mistakes happen.” I live nearby and I had an emergency that required a quick tire change. If I were you I wound not risk bringing your car here. I will gladly pay more elsewhere to make sure the job is completed correctly. SAFETY FIRST and don’t settle for “mistakes happen”!

I’ve had the worst possible morning. After work I came out to find a flat and no way of getting home. I changed the tire and put the spare on which took me about an hour or so, and then I started calling tire shops in the area to decide where I could potentially get a new tire. They all said they were too busy and couldn’t take me.
I called this location and spoke to Ken who was extremely helpful. He told me that as long as I made it before closing, they’d take care of me. I got there and was greeted right away, asked about my car needs and was provided with solutions. In less than an hour, Ken finished the job. I highly recommend this place.

Was going on a long trip and our vehicle started acting up and stopped accelerating we somehow managed to reach PepBoyz center and they welcomed us greatly we explained the issue and they said the technician already finished his shift and left and we had to wait till Monday , we explained to them that we have to reach our destination tonight so they got one of the guys to check it and made a solution for us to be able to reach our destination and thankfully we made it and arrived safely thanks to them and their advice on how to decrease the pressure on the issue . Plus they had a great coffee corner and we enjoyed it and the staff was friendly and welcoming… Hopefully everyones car doesn’t get a problem but if that happens and they ask me I’ll recommend Pepboyz definitely!!! That all happened in NJ.
