“i highly recommend giving this spot a visit. I went in confused and lost, but i left an enlightened man. laconia liquors got that juice. it has everything i needed to get on one and so much more. I saw whiskeys i had never seen before, wines and rums from the furthest corners of the globe, all with the convenience of being close by (and they deliver???). this is not only a community service, but a (spirit)ual one. Its run by a day 1 BX family, you couldn't support a more deserving local business.”

I really like South African wines and many wine shops either do not carry them at all, and if they do, have a very limited selection. Gary has a nice selection of South African wines as well as Italian wines, with the Italian wines featuring a lot of regions that most other wine shops do not. Kudos to Gary’s! Oh, and by the way, their wines are priced very fairly .”

“This store is a gem for a variety of reasons. I appreciate its location, as it is central to most places you would eat at on Park Avenue. This makes it very convenient for BYOB. The store is clean and well-stocked. Wooden shelves align the walls and display the various wines and spirits. The selection as far as my interests go is quite good. Numerous less-common bourbons can be found here, and for fair prices. Finally, where the place really shines is the owner. He is absolutely wonderful in every way. He is pleasant, courteous, kind, and helpful and will strike up friendly conversation with his customers. He will even try to procure various items for you that he doesn't have in stock. This nice touch keeps me coming back.”

“Went tonight to celebrate my mom’s bday. Margarita pizza was delicious (sauce and crust), veal chop parm was impressive. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had what we wanted. The gentleman (so mad I didn’t get his name) knew it was my mom’s bday the day before and brought us over 3 pieces of different cakes (on the house) to celebrate. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Such a pleasant evening!”
