Pretty average movie theater experience, the movie was good but the screen did not even turn on till 15 minutes after the scheduled movie time. The snacks were mainly good other than the popcorn. It was the worst popcorn I have ever had, it was stale and disgusting and a waste of money. But the theater was nice and clean and the people were nice so to be honest I would come back I would just not get the popcorn and I would recommend if you go here do the same.

This is a really great theater in downtown Hawthorne, New Jersey. Been around since the early 1930s. Used to be a single screen back then but now it’s 5 theaters. Good sized screens in each theater comfortable seats. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good popcorn, other choices at the concession stand.
I like to go to these neighborhood, theaters versus the big multiplexes. New Jersey has lost too many theaters in the downtown areas over the last 10 years.
Definitely come out to this theater to see Movies often

Not the most up-to-date theater, but when AMC and Cinemark were sold out to see the show we wanted we had PLENTY of seating here. They were out of fruit punch and butter for the popcorn or I would've given a 4 star review.

It’s a very small theater but it was one of a few playing a movie I really wanted to see.The price for food was very reasonable compared to larger theaters.The theater itself is very outdated with old chairs. It needs a little upgrade

Seating is too close & very uncomfortable. Refreshment stand person seemed like it was an effort to serve me. Location and parking for me is the only plus. Now I know why they have discount Tuesdays.

one of my favorite places! i have such fond memories of coming here as a child and i love to come here now as an adult. they have a lot of great movies that are hard to find without going to niche or far away theaters, and the staff is always friendly and helpful :) support your local theater!

I went to see Trolls with my fiancé and I loved the Groupon deal because it includes 2 free sodas and 2 small popcorns. I highly recommend Hawthorne Theaters!
