I loved all of the items chosen for the store from the value, selection and quality. I was so honored to meet Maureen and totally blown away by her ability to connect with her customers and how at home she made me feel in her store, and how accommodating she also was! Her opinions of items I chose and her ability to pick items that would look great on me.. She pointed out the 50% items out for me(and there were so many)!! I also loved all of the items she chose for the store. They were all clean as the store was too. I spoke to quite a few of her lovely customers also and they were great. I live about 50 miles away but it was well worth the trip and I will surely be back!!! Highly recommend!!!!!”

“The owner is an absolute sweetie and always has helpful insight on items and when they’re from! I bought a pair of prescription glasses from the 50s and within about 10 minutes of owning them, they broke! Because I’m a far distance from the store, she gave me a full refund through Paypal and didn’t even ask me to bring them back. The most charming place!!”

“PROS: this place was very nice. Historically a train station that was renovated into a shop. The staff was nice, prices were amazing, variety of items plentiful, everything was organized, and the items were good quality. There was even loads of parking CONS: the place wasn't all that big which caused congestion inside. OVERALL: I will definitely come back here as this is an amazing place to go thrifting”
“Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”
“This shop has a lovely selection of antique and vintage items. I found just what I had been looking for and the price was very fair. The person who was at the shop (Jerry?) was a bit grumpy lol. So don't expect a lot of help when you go there. I guess it was nice that at least I didn't feel like I was being pushed into buying something.”

They use Entrupy to authentic their bags and include the paperwork with your purchase. They have a huge collection of designers bags, unique clothes and stunning jewelry! “I stopped in this shop last week, loved the selection she has in mink coats, couldn’t make up my mind. Told her I would be back with a friend. When I came back she was closed and about to leave but when she saw me she opened her store back up and my girlfriend and I both brought minks that evening. I will be going back, as she was very sweet and kind & I love to get a great deal.”

“Overwhelming in the best way! I was bowled over by the insane quantity of donated materials they had, and more importantly, how organized it all was!!!! This was not some bargain bin with stained crap thrown in- these were nice quality clothes, sorted very specifically and resold for a VERY reasonable price. My eco-conscious heart swooned. I even got a bunch of fabric, how cool is that!!! Loved it and can’t wait to come back to keep digging. The staff were friendly and patient too, very hands off but if you needed help they’d be happy to oblige.”
