I have used Mr B's in the past with the previous owners. I decided to go with them this year and in March I booked my pool opening for May. Anthony agreed on the week of May 26. I followed up twice prior to that week. Anthony gave me an opening date of May 25th. May 25 no pool opening. No communication from Anthony whatsoever. I emailed no response. I called and their voicemail is full you can not get through. I had a party scheduled for Monday and of course this changed everything. They are completely unprofessional. If there's an issue all that Anthony had to do was reach out however to not communicate at all? It's crazy that they are still in business. Especially with all of the negative reviews many concerning Anthony. I would most definitely never recommend Mr. B's. Good luck If you decide to go with them.

At first I was so happy with their service the first year I used them. I even hired them for a second year and paid in full for the season so they would open, close and service my pull weekly. Once they were paid in full everything changed. Anthony was unresponsive. They showed up, dumped chemicals and left. Rarely actually vaccuumed or cleaned the pool so we couldn't swim often. They never showed up to close my pool, and they kept my expensive pool pump. They still have not returned any messages, emails, or phone calls regarding giving it back. DO NOT HIRE THEM and if you do, do not pay them in advance.

I was using Pool Shack for a few years to open and close my pool. This year I called and made an appointment to open on June 6. I had to reschedule to June 20. Anthony never showed up. I called several times and left messages and no response. He finally called a few days later and said he would come that day. He never showed or called. His behavior was very unprofessional. I will never use him again! The appointment was moved once not three times. So not sure were you got three times from. The appointment was moved 2 weeks to June 20. So how this appointment was not confirmed and scheduled is beyond me. The lack of communication from your employees especially Anthony is a joke. I'm sorry about the loss of your family member but please don't use it as an excuse for not properly running your business. And especially don't put this on us. Also we were told by Anthony that he was on his way here and I communicated to Anthony that someone would be home at 3pm. My boyfriend showed up at 3pm and no Anthony and no communication saying he was coming or not coming. You will get no business from us going forward. Have a great day and God bless ?

This was our second year having Anthony and his crew open/close and maintain our pool. He is very responsive and his rates are quite reasonable. We recommend Mr. B’s to anyone looking for a pool company.

I literally can’t say enough good things about this service. As luck would have it, I was leaving for a cruise vacation when my pool filter took a dump. I would have no email or phone access for a week. I called Anthony on a Sunday morning and he eased my concern and while I was gone he took care of everything. That is the kind of service that’s been lost with many companies. Not Anthony. He’s a true professional and a master of his craft.

This is my first season using them. In all my years I have never had a cleaner, maintenance free, quality season. I was always the do-it-yourself guy but these guys gave me a stress free, enjoyable season. Well worth the money. Very reliable and professional.

I hired them this season to open my pool. A simple pool opening took almost 3 weeks. I had to constantly call them to find out when they were going to finish the job because everytime they came they couldn't finish it and no one would call me to update me which was extremely unprofessional. I had to constantly call to find out why my pool wasn't running. I did have to replace a piece of PVC pipe but they told me they had to go to home depot to get some...I'm sorry your a pool repair company and have no PVC piping with you? None-the-less this took 3 weeks..YES 3 WEEKS...and even the owner supposedly showed up to fix it. I had to cancel my pool party plans. After being "fixed" the "fixed" piping continues to leak. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

NOT PROFFESSIONAL Company. Stay as far away as you can from these people. Came in once for service Broke the filter and stopped answering Calls or Texts. Complete Ignorant People. Service people need to be there to service when you need them.This is a Lesson for Anthony, Instead of ignoring customers calls, a simple text or call would keep customers in the loop and they might just be patient and understanding. Ignorance is not your best quality as a business owner.Do yourself a favor find a more proffessional company and stay away from these guys.

We have used Mr. B's Pool Shack for years. Change of ownership last season. I decided to stay and use them all summer. We had a lot of issues with the young people they were hired to do the cleanings. My husband purchased a brand new filter for the season. Mid July, the cap from the filter was cracked. I called the owner and he came by. Of course he said it was not his people but it was brand new. He put a epoxy putty on it and said it would be dry by the next day. Several days past, and it was still moist. I called and called but he ever came back to look at it. I eventually had to go out and by a new cap. Towards the end of the summer, I called them and said that my filter was not filtering properly. I again made several calls but nobody would come out and see. A week before Labor Day, the pool started to turn green. They came out and cleaned it but it turned again. I called again and nothing was done. I basically had to cancel my plans to have people over because the pool was green. When they came to close the pool in September, Anthony apologized. I was fine with it. We were still going to use Mr B's this summer even though last summer wasn't great. Well, they won't return my calls or answer my email. They even deleted a comment on made on a recent post about calling me back. So this company did a horrible job yet they don't want me as a customer. OK! Well now I will take my business elsewhere. In my opinion, this is not how you grow a business especially for the customers who stood by the new owner. I don't recommend this company at all.
