They took longer than expected to perform an oil change and I found a loose bottle cap jammed under the hood of my car due to someone’s negligence. The hood was clearly not closed all the way; it’s clear they don’t do very thorough work. When I called, they apologized but did nothing to remediate the situation. I won’t be using them again.

At your hazlet NJ store on rt 35, oil change is 3 hours late, and the store manager asks me why i am upset, whats the big deal. When i said i am a customer of this branch for 17 years, he told me he doesn’t care if i came here for 30 years but i have no right to be upset. Rude people, clueless (told me twice they had my filter when in fact they did not). Also they fogot to check my real light. Never again.

No sales per say only service, so ... doesn't help me for what I need.
I'd like to say, you said be there 10am to check possible coolant leak and trans flush....I get there, so Lou when I talk to guy outside he says oh ...can't for few hours but I'll take for ride .
Ok ..oh...no not for few hrs!!!
Trying to back out "fat" guy in big hummer is blocking me from getting out. I almost hit and got out....asked/ Needed 4 feet or id hit em.... wouldn't move...then tells me I should go-to CHURCH f that place...

I had an appointment on a day that pep boys was short staffed due to employees calling out. The manager Javier stepped up like a manager should and provided excellent customer service.

Will never go to the pep boys on 35 in Hazlet. Dropped off my car for simple oil change. A trained monkey can do an oil change. Should take no more than 20 minutes to change oil in a car. They had it all day and because i couldn't wait there they kept putting it off and never did it told me to come back tomorrow like im going to give these monkeys my money ever again. I was a regular customer
