“We just moved here recently, and my Yorkie Jimmy gets car sick so I was excited that they literally are down the block from us. I had their well visits to get established and came back for a visit when my havanese Nicky was having an issue two months ago. Amanda the tech is so sweet and great w my boys and Dr Vokral is also so sweet and great w them. So far I’m very happy with them and feel so blessed that they are literally a minute away.”

“What an amazing vet! I called nervous about my puppy’s possible eye infection and they took me 30 minutes later even as a new patient. Everyone from the front desk staff to the intake technician to Dr. Russo is warm, compassionate, and comforting. My baby Bella was completely calm throughout the eye exam and treatment. When I went to take her home she literally bellyflopped at the front door and wouldn’t leave. As I went to scoop her up both front desk people got up front behind their desk without me even asking and playfully interacted with her to coax her out the front door. What a great place!”

Dr Barry is also an exceptional veterinarian. The way he works with my pets just left me in awe. He is so professional and compassionate. “I am so happy that I found this place not only was my cat spayed, he got his nails trimmed and if he was missing any vaccines/shots he would have been taken care of there. I like that they offer vaccines as well as basic grooming, this definitely saves the trip of going to your vet or somewhere else to have the vaccines done. The facility looked very clean and taken care of from what I saw. I also donated some kitten food that my cat is not eating anymore and I know it will go to a good place where it’s needed, so please bring food that is sealed and not open to donate if you have. The staff was very professional, interactions were clear and just an easy process from the time I dropped off my cat until the time I picked him up I felt he was in good hands.”

Dr. Montekio is thorough, kind, and willing to work with whatever your pet needs, even if that means getting on the floor with them. Service here is always speedy but never rushed. “Dr Ferraris is our favorite. She did everything she could to help save our Linus' leg (but it turned out to be cancer, so unfortunately, amputation was the only option). She's sweet and compassionate and really cares about our fur babies. The techs are always good with them as well, even when our 18 year old cat doesn't stop complaining about getting her blood drawn from the second we walk in, and front desk is very quick and efficient.”

“We've been going to Little Silver Animal Hospital for 4 years and have never had a bad experience. The whole staff is lovely, and Dr. Reagan, our regular vet at the practice, is a wonderful patient and caring vet (although we've seen a few when she's not available and they have all been great). We have many local vet offices, but choose to drive 30 minutes to see the vet we know and trust.”

I bought my cat in for an emergency visit on a Sunday and didn't have to wait too long to see a Dr. Unfortunately I found out some bad news and ended up having to say goodbye to my Franky, but the Dr was very compassionate and let me spend as much time as I needed with him. “this was my first time taking my new cat to a vet. the check in was super fast, staff was really nice! got brought to the back almost immediately and let my cat roam the room and explore alittle. they got her weighed, asked me a bunch of questions in regards to symptoms because i had told them she was itchy and gave herself a tiny bald spot from scratching a lot. they took her previous records to front to update her profile and the vet came in almost immediately after. super nice, and very informative. did her wellness visit check up and took a look at the bald spot. said it was healing very well, and the hair was growing back already, so i was relieved. my cat also didnt freak out at all, not sure if thats because shes a people kitty, but she was chilling and just wanted to explore. the vet and assistant handled my cat with such care, and my cat also seemed to really like them! they offered her favorite treats to gain trust so she would let them look at her more closely. at the end of the visit, the vet put an ointment on her spot, and she hasnt scratched it since. was told to keep them updated so they could further treat it if worsened. all in all, id recommend them. the visit was also a lot cheaper than i was expecting, so that was nice too.”

I say this because the last vet that I used was afraid of my very mild mannered dog and made me muzzle him before she'd approach him, even though he didn't exhibit any aggressive behavior. And she still didn't give him the exam he should have had. When I brought him to Bayshore I mentioned that they could muzzle him if they thought necessary and they said no need. And last vet was afraid of my cat because she was very vocal as she hates the carrier. Bayshore had no fear of giving her a thorough exam and correctly diagnosing her. Needless to say they are my new vet.”

“We started seeing Dr. D and his team in 2002. My puppy at the time had asthma; for the first few months of her life, other vets told us they did not know what was wrong with her, even after spending thousands of dollars. But after just one time of visiting Dr. D and getting the correct diagnosis, my baby girl lived to be 19 years old. We continue seeing him now. He is great and really knows what he is doing. Great service. Would give more than five stars!”

“Dr Astarbi was my vet for over 10 years. I had four dogs at one time and he took care of all of them. Of the 4 , two were put to sleep comfortably in my house surrounded by those who loved them. He is very professional, always gave me a call back and a lot of advice over the phone. I had one dog with Addisons disease. He took care of Bella until she passed away at a ripe old age of 15, usually adisonian dogs don’t live that long. She didn’t have many episodes but when she did Dr Astarbi helped her get back on track. I miss my girl Bella and my boy Giacomo so much. I moved to Florida and he sent me my dogs records. I miss him and Steve. I cannot find and caring vets here, what a shame. Dr Asarbi is very down to earth ,funny, personable and honest and always gave me good advice. I would get my dogs teeth cleaned every year with dr astarbi. Not one problem at all. I wish I could find someone here on the same caliber but I cannot. Dr Astarbi is highly recommended, you won’t regret having him as your long term vet. I hope you are going well, trinket and pia say hello!”

“Cant find anything bad to say! I had called a few weeks ago when I had an emergency with my dog and they were able to take me in the same day ( Not being a previous client) with no issues at all. Arriving there frazzled with my dog I had forgotten to bring his records from the previous vet and they had no problem reaching out and obtaining them on their own. Not only did they provide great service and peace of mind that day, I had called a few days later concerned that my dog wasn't getting better, Even after the staff confirming it was going to take time Dr. Bach allowed me to come in and examine my pup again just to put MY nerves to rest. Everyone from the receptionist to the technicians even the office manager were all a pleasure to speak to. Will definitely be back and will be referring out to friends and family in need!”

“Always a good experience here… I’ve had two very emotional euthanasias at this office and they couldn’t have been more professional. Was at the office yesterday with my loving but obnoxiously strong dog for a boo boo and Dr Drozd was thorough and to the point. And understood my old pups needs. I’m still lol over “he’s strong for an old fart” bc he is! Less than 24 hours later my strong maniac is showing off his boo boo to me and how much better it is already. It’s got to be tough dealing with animals who are scared and try to defend themselves out of instinct when being restrained for treatment and they do it fabulously. Big thank you from us and Rome”
