The vet is very knowledgeable and attentive. He spends time with you answering all your questions, and he doesn't make you feel rushed. Also, he doesn't try to suggest things that aren't needed. And calls after hours to check up and see how your pet is doing. Hard to find a vet that genuinely cares about animals the way he does. Highly recommend this place.PS, aside from seeing dogs and cats, he is also very experienced with rabbits.

They are wonderful. They really do care. I called Friday late afternoon and Saturday morning my dog's meds were ready. My dog was feeling so much better by noon. Thank you so much for your care and timely service.

Dr Goldsmith is the best. He has been our vet for more than 20 years. During that very long time he has treated many personal cats and dogs and many rescued cats & kittens as well. Dr Goldsmith is one of the most pleasant people you will ever meet in an animal hospital setting. He genuinely loves cats and dogs. But most importantly, he is an excellent diagnostician/doctor. Dr Goldsmith has treated the entire range of cat & dog health related issues from simple upper respiratory infections to amputations and other surgeries. Because he is a single practitioner you may sometimes have to wait a bit longer than expected to see him...but Dr Goldsmith has always been worth waiting for.

The worst vet ever, I took my rabbit there and the vet doesn't know how to even touch pets, he was trying to pull my rabbit out of his cage by holding his neck. My rabbit screamed like he was dying. I heard his scream for the first time. I left without getting him checked. I would not recommend this vet or facility. The place is filthy too and smells terrible. In response to your reply:1. You suggested we let him explore the exam room. We opened his cage and allowed him to explore and we offered him the hay but the smell of the room was so rancid that he didn't even want to leave the cage. The establishment is absolutely filthy. It was unkempt and smelled horrible. It is clearly not maintained properly.2. Our carrier was able to be taken apart from the top. Not sure how you didn't notice that.3. My rabbit started screaming after the doctor very aggressively started pulling him out. I assumed he would stop after hearing my rabbit screaming, but I was shocked when he kept going. Clearly, you were not paying attention because ultimately I had to tell the doctor to let him go. After doing so, he simply backed away and seemed irritated. Instead, as a proper vet, he should have tried to find a more gentle approach rather than angrily leaving the room after physically hurting my rabbit.4. I understand why my rabbit started stomping when he entered the clinic. The smell was absolutely horrible, even I couldn't stand it myself despite wearing a mask. Imagine how that must be for a pet with a sense of smell much stronger than humans. Maybe try cleaning your clinic or using some sort of pet-friendly air freshener.

DR.Goldsmith is an awesome veterinarian, he really cares about the animals and goes out of his way to make sure you they are taken care off. The staff is also really understanding and care for assisting the pets and owners. The aftercare is also especially great, we got multiple follow up calls after a procedure to make sure our dog was doing well and the doctor took the time to personally answer all our questions and concerns. Only tiny issue is that the sign for the office and it's entrance is obscured and easily missed but I'd happily go thru a moat to get to this place!!

I would definitely recommend my friends and family here. Dr.Goldsmith saved my dogs life with emergency surgery without charging me an arm and leg like other places would have!

Dr.Goldsmith is great. He even calls you the next day to make sure everything is OK. I've been using him for 12 years. My dogs even like him. They are never scared to walk into his office.

I took my dog to get neutered there a few days later he ate the stitches out. I left a message at the office on regular voicemail and got a phone call from the vet within and hour. Such a great business would recommend to anyone.

Our cat Kara died, just before Christmas, and this is something that could have easily been avoided.Kara had a mild cough and we trusted that the doctor knew best how to tackle this. The doctor used no diagnostic tools such as an electrocardiogram, blood tests or chest X-ray to provide a reliable diagnostic. He just gambled our Kara's life and generically prescribed steroids (Prednison), assuming that it was just a cough.Unfortunately, Kara had an undiagnosticated heart murmur; the steroids worsened her heart condition, which led to the formation of multiple blood clots. She started complaining about the severe pain all of a sudden 20 hours after taking the first pill, she became paralized on 3 of her little legs within 5 minutes, and we immediately took her to the emmergency hospital. There was nothing that could be done to save her, and we had to make the horrific decision to euthanize her.She was an amazing and smart companion who deserved better care. We initially waited for the doctor for 25 minutes despite having an appointment. When the consultation finally started, the doctor again stepped away for minutes and I could hear him giving another consultation in parallel and taking several phone calls. Kara deserved better and this is not how medicine should be done.I could never recommend this place, and we will never, ever take another pet there.

I love Dr Goldsmith. I took my cat, Molly, to the ER twice in the last week. I got a lot of generic answers and only suggestions of more tests. I waited for Dr. Goldsmith to see us. He spent an hour with us...treating Molly with such care and really helping us find out what is wrong so we can treat her. He understands that she is part of our family. I am forever grateful.

Best vet ever! We have been with Dr. Goldsmith for all of our furry friends - 4 cats and 4 dogs. He always puts his patients first - never recommends unnecessary procedures, and is very fairly priced! One time I called to ask a question and he very kindly answered and gave medical advice over the phone without asking us to come in/charging an office fee. He truly is the kindest vet and has a ton of experience!
