They need new employees. I didn’t know usps employees were so miserable. Went in yesterday to get three money orders. My cards were declined but not because of it not having money but because the lady put in the wrong numbers. Bank locks the card and kept calling about a 10,000 dollar transaction. The attitude is absolutely horrible in this usps. I asked her a million times about the machine being wrong. It’s horrible.

I live in Highland Park & unfortunately I have to drive to Edison post office. Anything to avoid these 2 women that work the Highland park post office. These women are very disrespectful & rude. So many of us Highland Parkers stopped going to this location due to this abuse. A petition should definitely be signed to get these women out & hire better employees. We need to get our Post Office back!!!

The lady in the front desk is so rude and makes me feel so uncomfortable every time I go there. I particularly get a feeling of disrespect coming from my immigrant background. Just horrible customer service. First in a lifetime experience.

Avoid this post office! You deserve a better service. The front desk lady was giving me an attitude and absolutely not doing her job at all. They put my sender and receiver address absolutely wrong so I paid to send a package to myself.

They open at 8am. I’m STILL waiting here (it’s 8:46), for someone to open so I can pick up a package. Last time it took 2 months for me to pick it up because they kept sending it to different places even though it said pick up here. Wish I could switch which post office my mail gets!!

Avoid Highland Park neighborhood just because of horrendous USPS. I’ve never seen a ruder person in my entire life than the postperson and front desk woman. They put oversized packages in your mailbox, get it stuck and give you an attitude for politely asking them to get it out. They return your USCIS mail despite you have your name and address updated, which can absolutely ruin a person’s entire livelihood they built so hard in this country. Edison USPS is much better. Theses people do not deserve their job.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I went to this post office yesterday to pick up a package that required a signature. My fiancée filled the form out online, designating me as the pick up person. The older woman with dark hair seemed to be very friendly to the customer in front of me, so I was completely oblivious to the horrible behavior that awaited me. I was extremely friendly when she began to assist me. She was extremely slow in retrieving my package, even though it was probably a mere 10 steps away. She aggressively said “ID” and then threw my license back in my face. She told me that my name did not match the name on the package. I patiently explained that I understood that, but my fiancée designated me as the pick up person online. In an aggressive and uncaring tone, she looked me up and down and said “how am I supposed to get that information? That stuff isn’t transmitted to my system.” At that point, I had really had enough of her and her attitude. I replied, “Then what is the point of having a website where you fill out a designated pickup person?” She stated at me as I stared back at her. There was no way I was leaving that god forsaken place without my package. She eventually gave up and gave me the package. Looking back, I should have asked for her name. Not that that would even matter though. I see how many horrible reviews there are about her. Seems like she should have been terminated a long time ago. Avoid this place at all costs.

Terrible service. The employee I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude when I asked about a package. She was confused when I explained I saw tracking information on usps.com. She said “we don’t have a website” and hung up on me. 😑

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. LADY IN THE FRONT COUNTER WITH A MASK THAT WASNT EVEN COVERING HER NOSE AT ALL. NASTY ATTITUDE WITH VERY RUDE TENDENCIES OF ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS. MADE MY EXPERIENCE THERE HORRIFYING. IF I COULD’VE KNOWN THAT SHE WOULD TREAT ME LIKE THAT I WOULD’VE TAKEN MY SERVICE ELSE WHERE. DONT LET THE WOMAN WITH A MASK ATTEND YOU SHE IS A HORRIBLE WORKER!!! IF I COULD GIVE HER A ZERO I WOULD

I recently had a frustrating experience at the post office that left a bad impression. I went in hoping to track a package that hasn’t arrived yet to the destination—but the interaction with the staff was less than helpful. The woman behind the counter, an African American with long black hair and a mask that barely covered her face, might as well not wear it at all, her attitude was immediately dismissive. She seemed bothered by the simple request, and instead of assisting me professionally, she responded in a way that felt unhelpful and impatient. It wasn’t just the lack of assistance that stood out, but the fact that she got visibly irritated when I asked a simple question. She acted like a high schooler fr which is sad, she’s too old to be acting like one. When you’re in customer service, a certain level of respect and patience is expected, and sadly, that was not present here.

The employees at the Highland Park office should take notes from the employees in the Sea Girt office. I was in the area and had to mail an international card. I walked in and was welcomed with a warm greeting and smiles. What a pleasure. I went into the HP office today to mail a package and the woman with the dark hair that's always there said absolutely nothing to me the entire time and had no expression at all on her face. So pathetic. She needs to retire.

Just went in yesterday, and saw this new woman working there and she told me if I had more than 5 packages, she can't take it. Mind you I was the only customer in the post office. I remember leaving thinking, wow a post office that doesn't like excepting packages. Weird. So I go online and see that there is no limits to how many packages a customer can bring. Which now makes me extremely angry because this person basically immediately for no reason at all choose me to be the person that she can care less for helping if I had 6 packages. Laziness, or prejudice, but if the limit is made up, then why does the post office allow this kind of unprofessional behavior. It's incredibly uncalled for. They get paid while they are there, we are usually the ones having to take time out of our lives and wait several minutes sometimes to send something out. But too many times I see it's the workers behind the counter with the attitude and the customer showing better customer service. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around. So my next question is how are these skills not taught to these workers. The main job is customer service. I got better customer service from workers at gas station that works outside in the cold and all types of weather. To see this kind of service in a highly regarded place is terrible and makes me reconsider using this service.
