“There are very few Desi Stores around and Rahi Stores fills that need.This is a Desi ‘convenience’ store, not a big box retail store or a Patel Wholesale level store; so to the other people who are leaving bad reviews that it is expensive are just displaying either their own cheapness or lack of awareness on how hard it is to run a small business that caters to ethnic communities.I have nothing but good things to say. I can find most things that I need and sometimes they are slightly more expensive than other stores, but that’s fine. I’m not being forced to buy, I’m paying them for the convenience.While I agree with some reviews that the counter people might not have a ‘pleasant disposition’ or smile every time I see them, that too is fine. I am there to purchase groceries not to catch up on the Joneses.I am grateful that that place exists and that they listen to customers’ inquiries. I know I asked for Ashoka Naans once, and they said they don’t carry that brand, next week, they had them there. Same thing with Shan Chana Masala.Just not fond of the Samosa/Kabab/homemade snacks that they carry, they look a bit old/stale; but it might just be my perception.”
“We bought delicious apple juice (called cider), pickles, excellent milk, vegetables and a delicious beef shepherd’s pie from this market. The glass bottle can be returned. Very cute shop.”
“Been there multiple times. They have the sweetest pumpkin setup for fall. They sell everything for a backyard make over,not just plants and shrubs. My husband and I re-did our path in the front and purchased stones for our pond and new DIY walkway. LOVE the staff. They also currently sell locally made ice cream from Metuchen. So cute!”

“I love Lima Farms and I love every season summer all the veggies , fall the pumpkin festival and turkeys are the best I’ve ever tasted , winter eggs are delicious and fresh the young lady who works there is awesome The meats are fresh . We love helping the local farmers because they care enough to help us by growing and offering healthy meals. Thank you Lima Farms. The Colucci’s love and appreciate you oh I forgot the most beautiful flowers are grown there too !!!”
