Kiddie Academy of Hillsborough hires the most wonderful and caring staff; all of my child’s teachers greatly exceed our expectations! We are beyond thankful to have such a trusted and enriching place to leave our little one during our workdays.

I had an extremely poor experience with one of the kindergarten staff members working in the Hillsborough location. I enrolled my child there only for summer camp. The enrollment and directors were wonderful. While dropping my 7yr old off the first day, at somewhere she has never been, doesn’t know anyone (staff or children.) I walked her into the classroom to put her stuff in her cubby and introduce myself. The staff member looked at me and said in a very unfriendly way that I was not allowed in her classroom. I told her it’s my child very first day here and I need to make sure she’s ok and comfortable. After a minute or so I left but still felt unsettled by what just occurred. I called the facility and one of the owners answered. I let her know my concern, she apologized and said she would speak to the teacher. My child was very hesitant about going back but unfortunately I have to work full time. The next week when I arrived for pickup my child was terrified and said she’s never going back. I asked what happened and she told me the teacher was yelling in a child’s face, grabbed him by his arm and threw him in another classroom. I called the facility again and spoke to the other owner about what happened. He stated that he knew what I was talking about and was expecting calls from concerned parents. I told him that my child doesn’t feel comfortable going there now, is scared, doesn’t want to return, and that I didn’t spend $3000.00 for her to feel unsafe and give me a problem in the mornings about going. I was told the teacher was again spoken to about this and he would be checking in. My child went back only a handful of times after due to that staff member and I had to find additional childcare for her when I could. I would never recommend this facility to anyone!!! I paid $3,000.00 for 8 weeks of camp and my child went maybe 10 days total.

Both my boys have been to Kiddie Academy and it has always been like a second home to them. I love the school infrasturcture, teachers, support staff, curriculum and most importantly the fresh food that the in-house chef cooks. My 4 year old loves to go to school everyday and that's all that matters :)

Tour was great as well as the person who did the tour mrs giampietro. It just appears that this place just care about more rather than helping families and childcare. They told me they don’t accept any childcare assistance through the state because it’s too much paperwork. Overall I would not want my child enrolled in a place like this. We called other Kiddie Academy locations and they ALL accept childcare assistance. Don’t know if we was judge based on the need for assistance that we wouldnt pay our end or what but no thanks. Everyone knows childcare expenses are through the roof, who wouldnt want guaranteed money!

Few weeks back I went with my cousin as he was looking for a daycare for his kids. I found staff members phenomenal. The owner Surti was super and explained everything in details. Clean facility and everyone was so friendly. Love the entire Academy and my cousin is very happy with Kiddie Academy overall performance.

Kiddie Academy is excellent. The staff, management, etc are all amazing. They follow health guidelines, and also have an on-site chef and menu, which works with anyones dietary needs. I would definitely recommend Kiddie Academy of Hillsborough for your child.

I have waited a long time to actually write this review. But I feel I should definitely leave a review. I will start off with the good things about Kiddie Academy. Michelle was my sons teacher and was phenomenal. While my son was in her care I had no worries. If Michelle was able to work the entire time my son was at the Academy I'm pretty sure I would not have a negative experience. I have no reservations about my son being in her care. On the other hand when my son was not in her care it was a disaster. My first incident was Haley who no longer works there she was an aid she threw food at my son from across the table. Not once but twice, the second time the food was thrown it bounced off his plate and hit the floor. There was nothing at all noted in her file of the incident. Another issue I had was with the directors daughter who clearly didn't know how to change a diaper, my son had fecal matter all over his private parts and severe diaper rash because she did not know she was supposed to wipe the front of him as well. My son was in so much pain he couldn't even sit down without screaming in agony. The diaper rash incident happened two times by the way. My next incident was my son has a Medical disorder and they were hiring new people constantly and I asked the staff members who were in the room if they were aware of my sons medical condition and neither of them had any idea or knew anything about it. So I brought this to Liz's attention the director and all she did was say oh I'm sorry that's my fault they should've been informed. My response was how many times is my son going to suffer due to the lack of training your staff members have. She didn't have a answer. At that time I knew I had to remove my son because it was a safety issue at that point. So all in all if you attend KA please make sure you watch the cameras extremely closely and don't be afraid to question anything.

I would avoid this place at all costs. Gross and deceptive business practices, and inconsistent staffing. I literally watched on camera as my daughters teacher laid on the floor on a mat scrolling through her cell phone while my daughter is sitting there looking for attention. In addition due to them being under a wage/employment investigation I also watched a random woman come into the classroom to question staff for this investigation while class was in session and kids were present. During COVID the last thing you want is random strangers in the classroom with your children. Not to mention i pulled my daughter from the school and month later they still were billing me. This place is making a practice of stealing from people rather that focusing on educating and caring for children. Just Horrible.

The teachers here provide excellent experiences for their students; from caring and playfulness, developmentally appropriate centers and learning activities, to execution of curriculum in academics and character building. This academy works hard to make sure your children excel every day and are building progress throughout the years.Open communication is always available through their family-based app “Tadpoles” where parents can leave notes and requests and teachers input pictures, updates, and everything about meals and snacks to toilet training and diaper changes. There is always someone at the front office to relay messages verbally and communicate about scheduling and billing. The staff at the academy have worked hard always, but especially through the uncharted waters of teaching and nurturing through a pandemic and the progress of the students enrolled shines as proof.

My boys went to this school for 4 months and they had an amazing time here. The teachers ( Ms. Morra, Ms. Hayley, Ms. Shannon and Ms.Maddy) are so good and caring that my boys were got attached to them in a very short period of time. My kids showed great development in terms of learning language, art skills and activities. They have a very nice playground that my son would talk about even after coming home. The owners, Trusha and Anant are great. From the point of initial tour of the school to our departure, they guided us every step of the way and the process of onboarding and off boarding was very smooth. Definitely recommend this school to infants and toddlers living in Hillsborough.

I have only been working at Kiddie Academy since September 2019. In only a few months they offered me a position full time. I didn’t think I would be offered something full time with only a few months of working somewhere new. These past few months I have been fortunate enough to meet some of the most amazing people. From coworkers to families. And the most important , the childrenI am so lucky to be able to be surrounded by so many little ones and to learn new things each day. Kiddie Academy is a top notch childcare with an excellent curriculum. From management to staff, to families & kids , it is a warm & nurturing environment that makes you feel like family. The teachers are highly trained in educating children. The owners are always there to help & answer questions for not only the staff but families as well. I wouldn’t recommend any daycare other than Kiddie Academy Of Hillsborough.Thank you Trusha Surti and Ananth Rao for all the support and encouragement you’ve given and the care you’ve provided to each family.
