ShopRite of Hillsborough is a good and clean supermarket, well-stocked and well-maintained. The store is described as an old fashioned ShopRite with an older interior than others. Customers find the staff to be very helpful, nice, and friendly. The place is always clean, the carts run well, and there is ample parking. The shelves are always well stocked with good deals and seasonal items available in a separate section for ease of navigation. The bakery is loved, with great cakes for special occasions, and the meat section offers premium quality meat and seafood. The produce is always fresh. This ShopRite offers the Boars Head brand at the deli. However, the deli counter has significant issues. The wait is often ridiculous, with long delays whether ordering by kiosk or in person, even when no one else is waiting. The problem appears to be a broken system needing management's attention. Overall, many customers have never had a problem and consider it their favorite supermarket.
Never been to a ShopRite in NJ before. I did enjoy this store and it is very well put together and will be back if need groceries in the future if in the area. Prices were reasonable and the place was a little boujee feeling.
