“We visited this facility because we needed a second opinion for our rottweiler who was suddenly blind and seemed to be struggling to get around. We shared our concerns and what we thought might need to be done. The vet and the staff that took care of us were all very compassionate and cared for our dog extremely well. We found out that our dog was very sick and needed to be euthenized (our decision made alongside the vet). It was an extremely hard decision, but our vet gave us the time and was patient with us as we took some time to cuddle, pet, and kiss our dog for the last time. We were taken to a room with a couch where we cuddled our dog as she passed away. I highly recommend Hunterdon Hills for the care of any pet!”
“Dr. Ruskin is the best !!! My English Bulldog was in such bad shape with allegies and Dr. Ruskin helped him so much with Conventional and Holistic meds. She even did a Vitamin C infusion which boosted his immune system and he was like a puppy again. She really cares about each animal. I would highly recommend her .”

“All the staff here are fantastic! We've been coming in for about 10 years with four cats and a dog and all have had amazing treatment. Dr. T and the whole team has helped our cats: first with brain cancer, the second with an intestinal blockage and hyperthyroidism, third's weightloss, and fourth's hysteria/aggression at every office visit. They've been there every step through our dog's health problems despite his fear of strangers (at first we brought him in with a muzzle, but it's the only place now where he is never aggressive towards strangers), including two CCL tears and corrective surgeries, as well as a tumor resection with a very long healing process. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for the care they've provided over the years. I passionately recommend to everyone I know that they come to these offices.”

“Dr. Springstead Has been helping me diagnose my cat who is severely sick, And Doctor Cotler, I speak to in between there schedule. Dr. Cotler is amazing. He will call you after hours, very knowledgeable. Doctor Springsstead is also amazing, extremely knowledgeable And between the two of them, they have been working really hard to try to help Cesar while I'm on a limited budget. It's been really exhausting for me and I'm having a really hard time but I can count on having the Doctor Cotler or Doctor Springstead to talk to And continue helping me figuring out what's wrong with my poor cat. They are extremely patient with me. This is been a really long week and I'm extremely exhausted. I'll be sure to post an update on the care that I've received but so far I am happy with it.I wanted to put a review on South animal Hospital.The receptionist are all good as well. They listen they make sure the doctors get the messages, They do their best to get you seen as soon as possible. I absolutely recommend this animal hospital. Six months ago, Cesar started showing much less severe signs and I took him to another place that told me it was dental issues. If I took him here I think I could've got him help sooner. No matter what Doctor you see I believe you're gonna get very good care. It's very difficult to diagnose animals, especially when you're on a limited budget, The most important thing about an animal hospital is having veterinarians that actually care. I can say truly in my heart I feel like these veterinarians truly do care and will continue trying their best to Diagnose my baby and manage all of the symptoms. It's a long road and I feel like they will support me through it.”

They treat Botafogo, my beagle with love and care every time.The doctors are dedicated, they take their time, never rush, and the follow up even during weekends if Botafogo is sick. I can't start to explain how grateful I am Botafogo's health is in their hands. All the technicians are knowledgeable and caring.”

“Early morning last Friday I ended up at AnimERge after I found my cat Anthony crying and collapsed on the floor. I knew it wasn't going to be good news but I was immediately comforted by the front desk staff on call that he would be taken care of and made comfortable during the exam. Dr. Barbara Guy, the vet on call that morning, examined him and spoke with me afterward. She didnt have good news for me, but she explained all of our options clearly and in a very caring and calm way. She and the front desk staff handled Anthony with such love and care during our whole visit and his passing was peaceful and respectful. I have had many pets and it is never easy to make the decision to help them pass when they are suffering, but after Dr. Guy's diagnosis, I knew it was the right thing to do.
After returning home from work Monday morning, I was so pleasantly surprised to receive a very heartfelt card from Dr. Guy in the mail. It was completely unexpected and very kind and it really made my day.
If you are ever in need of emergency care for your pet, I highly recommend AnimERge. Hopefully I don't need their services again soon, but I am comforted in knowing they are there if I do need them for my other pets!”

From the lovely woman at the front desk—I believe her name was Amanda (and I apologize if I’m mistaken!)—to the gentleman who handled our intake information, everyone made us and our two fur babies feel comfortable and cared for.
The bedside manner was truly amazing. They took the time to listen, ask questions, and genuinely understand what brought us in rather than making us feel rushed. You could tell that they truly care about their patients and the families who love them.
We left feeling heard, reassured, and confident that our fur babies were in great hands.
