I bought paint from this store twice and our bathroom upgrade turned out fabulous.Why go to Home Depot when you have Paint Can right here, with everything you need? You will not get the same attentiveness and care there that you will here. Also, the prices are no cheaper at any other hardware retailer. I would rather give it to the good people of this store who work hard to retain their small business. 10/10!!!”
“I am an out of state customer and no one in my local area had what I needed. Ramsey Hardware came up on my Google search for the item and I telephoned the store. Dan answered and he was extremely helpful. He told me to order the item online and he would ship it out. Took him less than an hour to do so. That is great customer service. “I don't think I will ever choose a paint color again without first consulting with Rob. The man is literally a color genius. He will look at your sample and in seconds whip out these color books and select perfect matches. There are literally thousands of nuanced shades of every color, barely discernible to you or me, but he knows each one of them like their his child. Go to eagle paint. Ask for Rob (call in advance, don't go in the AM when contractors go). The man is a genius.”

“There is a colorist named James. I call him the color whisperer. You show him the color of your furniture, floors and tell him what color you like and if the room is facing which direction and he hands you the perfect color. I still don't know how he does it, but he eliminates that stress from my life. Gotta love it. Always great customer service. I have been going there for years.”

“For anyone going there for Benjamin Moore paint: they really do close at 5pm (as Google says), not 6pm, as the BM website erroneously states. Apparently they’ve had trouble getting BM to update the hours.I’ve placed a few paint orders through the BM website for in-store pickup. I’ve since learned that there’s only 1 person at this store who can access those orders in their system; however, that person doesn’t arrive until 10-11am. So if your BM email says that your online order will be ready before 10am, well, it won’t. Just go in person if you need it earlier in the day.I’ve ordered a number of 8oz sample paint pots, both online and in person at the store. One time (from online), they gave me a color I didn’t order instead of the one I did. Another time (in person), they gave me 2 colors that did not match the ones I’d requested. The labels were for the ones that I’d asked for, but the colors were completely wrong. It was a little busy at that time (a Saturday), and I didn’t realize the colors were wrong until a week later. It all worked out in the end, but just FYI so you can keep an eye out. I didn’t approach the store about it as it didn’t really matter in my case, so I’m unable to report how they would’ve responded. All of my (many) quarts and gallons have all been correct, and that’s what matters to me.”

“Herb Lack Paints is a Nyack family owned business. Joseph along with his wife and son are a fixture in the Village Nyack business district.. Don't be fooled by the Paints they have have a lot more than paints. They have a great supply of Benjamin Moore paint, and do custom blending as well. They also repair screens there, and any copy of a key they have made for us always works. Their inventory includes everything from Gorilla glue to snow shovels. The family is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend a visit.”

“I just left the Valley Paint and Decorating Center and I honestly cannot say enough great things about the Customer service. At this time, I am redoing a bathroom in my home and needed help to pick a paint color. Both of the employees, Edgar and Karan Could not have been more accommodating. My wife and I honestly have no eye for color so we brought in a sample of the floor and shower tile and said please help us and pick the color. Edgar and Karan used their experience and eye for color and they picked the perfect color. I cannot say enough good things about my experience, and my wife was thrilled when we walked out of there and this decision had been made. These two gentlemen deserve a round of applause, not only for their expertise, but also for making us feel so welcome and at ease. I highly recommend this store and will continue to use them as I have in the past because of all my great experiences with them.”
