Just a warning, you need to double check your receipts! They have a habit of double charging for items. If you buy two of the same item you will get charged for 3. This has happened to me on multiple occasions.

They always have what I need. My only complaint would be who designed and built their parking lot. Also I prefer the metal shopping carts rather than plastic. The plastic ones break too easy. Yes it's busy but there is a reason for that. Love the deli and fish market.

Produce could be better handled and fresher. I would never buy berries from here because they are usually mushy from probably improper handling and the strawberries always have mold on them.My biggest issue with any store is shopping carts with garbage in the them. I understand people are slobs and leave their trash in the cart sometimes, but whoever collects them could clean them out. Yesterday I pulled three carts out before getting one that was clean. One had used tissues in it and one had 4 EMPTY CANS OF BEER laying in it. Did the person that collected the carts seriously just expect another shopper to clean it out? That's disgusting!

I shop in this store often and find that there are two or three check out employees who are usually courteous . One gentleman in particular is helpful He's the only one who helps bag my grocery, I am 76 years old and have tendonitis in my wrist and elbow hence would need help in bagging grocery. Can you tell me why your check out employees don't bag the groceries anymore? If Covid is a concern, then you should have your employees go back to wear masks and gloves. Most grocery store employees bag grocery items of shoppers. Trader Joe's in Westwood bag groceries. When I was at the Pearl River ShopRite, they bag groceries too. Corky B.

Don't get any of the prepared foods. Might as well get canned foods, open it in the parking lot, kick it around and eat it off the ground. Would probably taste better. The sushi tastes like two day old rice...or rice being thrown out by the takeout Chinese place across the street from last week. Inserra corporate...fire the prepared food crew. Save yourself the hourly wages. Anything on the shelf with a UPC should be in the system, right? How about a new rule...if it doesn't come up, it's automatically $0.01? Take the actual cost out of the paycheck of the shift manager. That will get people on the ball.

Couldn't get digital coupon on my phone for the above product so I went to customer service. Lady looked it up and said it was an old sign. I said it should not be there and should be removed at which time she ran over to remove sign. She would not honor the discount that was posted even when it was their fault. I always have trouble with their customer service. Very disappointing when you spend hundreds a week there.

I have had it!!!! This F!@#$% store is the worst Shoprite in existence! It's always always always out of the basic items constantly!! It looks like im going to ramsey now which is like going to a roller derby with your shopping cart. F OFF Hillsdale good ridings.

When I go to ShopRite of Hillsdale I get the home town feeling right away. Everyone is so helpful and courteous, from the cart people to the Management and all associates in between. They are organized here and have taken all Covid precautions from the beginning of this horrendous pandemic. I feel comfortable and safe there. But my favorite part is the selection and prices. Their prices are lower than other grocery stores in the area but I find no compromise in quality.

Not the greatest supermarket, Fresh Grocer in Washington Twp and Wegman's in Montvale are far better. The worst self check out I have ever used. Rarely can you check you self out and not end up needing the employee who over sees the self checkout area to come over and clear your register.

Well the deli never ceases to surprise me. Again this week I placed an online deli order, prepackaged bag showed Roast beef but it was not in the bag. I had to buy from the precut section at $1.00 more per pound because I wasn’t standing on line to order, kind of defeats the purpose of on line ordering.
I fill out the survey all the time and nothing changes.
I am seriously entertaining spending my money at a competitor, how hard is it to verify a customers order, and this isn’t isolated. My order is screwed up every time for the last 6 months.
Last time I complained I was told a representative would call, never got that call either.
I attached pictures of today’s order, I’m beyond annoyed at the lack of management’s concern.

Purchased "Bowl and Basket" - their brand I take it -ice cream. Firstly it is artificial whatever that means. "artificial" what? I will never buy anything labeled "bowl and basket" whatever it is. Shame on them.

If I can give -5 I would. This place is not getting better. Once a year I try to go in to see if any changes. But nothing. Staff is arrogant, slow and store is very limited with choices. Again, I rather travel a little more and go to Pearl River Shop Rite.

Went today and there was no social distancing by the customers. Customers were going the wrong way down aisles and right next to each other. At check out, there was no screen between myself and the cashier to my right and she was a foot away. One of the workers was walking out on the corridor out with no mask.
