This has to be the worst, least professional pharmacy I have ever been to. I waited over 30 minutes in line last time I came in to pick up my grandmother's blood pressure medication. Then, I get to the register and they can't find her prescription, so I have to wait to speak with the main pharmacist. After another 10 to 15 minutes, he shows up at the window (I don't know his name. Just to identify him, he is the Asian man wearing a tie.) He was insistent that the prescription was too soon to fill, talking in circles, until I show him that it was last picked up 32 days prior. Then he told me that it was filled somewhere else not a Walgreens, and "most likely in New York." I told him that was absolutely impossible, but he was insistent and becoming rude. So I left and told my grandmother to call her insurance. Her insurance said that the prescription was due to be filled and that they (her insurance) would call the pharmacist. An hour later, a representative from the insurance company called and said that they could not get through to the pharmacist after attempting to call four times. However, the rep. said that she saw where the pharmacy started to fill the prescription, but refused to acknowledge the DUR notification that my grandmother also takes a diuretic. So, I go back to the pharmacy and tell one on the pharmacy technicians that the prescription wasn't filed because of a simple DUR notification. I then wait another full hour for the prescription to be filled. While paying for it, the main pharmacist shows up and said "so I guess the insurance messed up." (They didn't. Obviously, the pharmacist hit the wrong prompt on the DUR page.) Just wanting to pay and leave, I said "OK." The pharmacist then said "that's how it goes sweetheart" and walked away. Overall, this was my worst time buying/picking up anything in my life... AND I'm called "sweetheart." Needless to say, my grandmother will be having prescriptions filled in the River Vale location going forward. Incompetence is annoying, but I understood it at least. Incompetence, mixed with misguided ego, dishonesty and inappropriate banter... No thank you. That pharmacist is absurd

This is my favorite Walgreens, because Ginny works there in cosmetics. Ginny is extraordinay, she always has a smile to share, and goes the extra mile every time. She is knowledgeable and offers guideance on the products. Not only does she know the products in her department, she knows where everything is in the store when I need help. Ginny, thank you for being a ROCK STAR! Ginny knows her customers by name, and always asks how everyone is doing. My Mom lives 300 miles away, and always makes a trip to Walgreens to purchase needed items and most importantly to say hello to Ginny. Every Walgreens needs a Ginny! Thank you for always being there for me, answering my questions, and you making my day better when I see you.

My family and I have been patrons of Walgreens in Hillsdale for over 20 years. As of an hour ago, all our prescriptions (there are many) were transferred to another location and we will never go back. I would have done this sooner but I refused to allow ONE PERSON to uproot my life so I hung in there and each time I would go I just hoped HE wouldn't be there. After today I can no longer put up with this. HE is completely out of control and HE isn't even a pharmacist. In fact, I've seen the look of mortification on the pharmacists face when observing HIM. HE is in the wrong profession. It's not normal for a grown woman to be reduced to tears in public but here we are.

The worst. Just the worst. Poor customer service. Poor communication. A very unenjoyable experience each and every time. Likely switching pharmacies which is a shame because it is a great location and has so much potential.

the old guy at the register was in a bad mood today and made it my problem for no reason even though i was just trying to buy something. when i was putting my phone number in i accidentally hit the wrong button and he said "can you put your phone number again and try to hit the right button this time" the costumer service is terrible from him. im someone who works in costumer service and i have never treated a costumer this way.

Walgreens Hillsdale- Chris G helped me at the Photo Center. His knowledge of the system, as well as his professionalism is an asset to this location. He was excellent in helping me make a memorable photo card. Thanks Chris G. Much appreciated.

Popped in to redeem a coupon I had for a facial cleanser. The store was decently sized and I found what I needed quickly. However, there was only one cashier and no self checkout. The employee had difficulty redeeming the coupon and had an attitude like he couldn't be bothered. I asked if the manager could assist and she was more helpful. Probably wouldn't be my first choice Walgreens.

Incompetent, unprofessional, unorganized. This pharmacy had me waiting for hours. Went early in the morning to pick up a prescription, the guy with the red beard said they didnt have it yet, fine, he took my phone number and said i would be contacted as soon as it was ready for pick up. I go home and wait around for TEN HOURS until i finally call, they say oh yea we got that prescription earlier this morning. I get upset asking why I wasn't contacted, the lady hangs up on me. I go in and now I'm not having any of their nonsense, I tell them I've been sick and needing my meds in not the nicest tone, so they take this opportunity to kick me out of the store. Sorry I got upset with you, you had me waiting around all day sick and in pain when you said you would notify me. This place is incompetent, unprofessional, and unorganized. Go elsewhere.

KT at the Walgreens in Hillsdale goes above and beyond for their customers. As multiple others were just kind of wandering around KT was attentive and engaged. They helped me solve a fedex label issue I was having over a three visit span until we celebrated victory once it got figured out. They deserve recognition and a raise bc they know more than the “manager” on the floor about the issues I was having and where I got a “it pisses the drivers off” from the manager I got “I’ll keep my eye out for a box to fit what you need” from KT. You need more KT and less of the guys who hide by the coolers instead of stocking anything. I worked retail and KT is the only actual hard worker I encountered there this week.

There has never been 1 time that they have gotten my prescriptions correct. The Asian pharmacist is the rudest individual that works with the public. It's incredibly sad seeing how she treats people with simple questions.

I never thought I'd be reviewing a Walgreens (Pharmacy), but here I am. As someone who has moved around a lot, I totally underestimated the importance of having a trusted pharmacist in my life. The team at Walgreens in Hillsdale really cares about their patients and goes above and beyond to ensure they have the highest level of care. Thanks Lauren and everyone else behind the counter -- you are the best!!

Why does every prescription take so long to fill? Even the Walgreens automated app apologizes for taking so long
