“Very easy rental process. The 16-passenger van is my favorite although there is no luggage space. We use duffle bags under the seats and small suitcases at least (2) 9x14x21 in the back. Family Road Trips.”

The customer service was excellent from Frank, as always, since ive booked at this location numerous times over the last 4 months. The trucks were always clean and in good working condition. But i cant stress most about the customer service esp in a time where its not practiced in many retail or service centers. 5 stars for this location.”

“This place is outstandingly helpful. Some months back I had a rush job to get a hitch and electrical installed for an emergency pick up the next day and they pulled it off in a few hours. It was last minute and I had to run the hitch over so they could get it on in time before closing and they even stayed a little late completing for me. They were so sweet and put in a lot of hard work with little to no notice. So appreciative.”

“We rented a 10ft Uhaul truck, which is ideal for a 1-2 bedroom apartment. I suggest you have dollies to move your heavier pieces, and load truck smartly as things can shift around. This truck drove very smoothly, had good pick-up with the v-8. This truck does not have a ramp, but is lower to easily step off, load your stuff. Not a complaint, but I would have someone get out, and physically assist when backing up. It can be tricky, and you are blind. Overall great experience, drop off at night no problem, left keys in drop box. This location on Rahway Ave is close to Route 1, and close to adjoining towns.”
“I normally don’t do these reviews, but this one is not once, but twice deserved. I’m in NJ working and got a car from Philadelphia airport and needed to extend due to job extensions and now I’m in north jersey and just driving in isn’t a convenience. Corporate budget couldn’t help, other locations hung up, and getting a person on the phone a the Philadelphia airport was impossible.
On a limb and ready to give up, I called this location that had nothing to do with my original booking. Not even a corporate spot.
I’m so happy I did. I was surprised by the first ring pickup and no automation… an actually person, and an amazingly nice and personable one. She helped me and made it painless and I swear I was done in a couple minutes vs the hold time everywhere else. Incredible. I wish I remembered her name.
Fast forward a week later… I need another extension. I call corporate, the airport, etc. no help. Then I remembered the beacon of hope last time. Sure enough, I called and got the same amazing woman that helped me last time. I remembered her, but didn’t expect her to remember me… then she pulled up my name and did. Amazing. She is a self proclaimed “older person” that still holds customer service at a high regard. I travel for work and reach a lot of these hotels and rental agencies, but this one will stick with me forever. She even invited me in for coffee and doughnuts even though I didn’t rent from them.
They can provide a level of service these big corporate locations can’t. I can’t recommended them enough, and will forever use them in the future in this area. I look forward to thanking face to face, but for now I hope this review (a serious rarity for me) will suffice. Your locations yet again restored my faith in customer service and maybe even humans in general haha!

“For a total of 6 years, I’ve had the pleasure of using U-Haul as my storage provider. I’ve had my belongings in storage at the location in Hillside for 3 of those years. I’ve never had an issue and although the security is on another level, I always knew my things were safe. Yesterday, we moved our things out and closed our unit. The level of customer service that Homero displayed to us has to be studied because it is TOP TIER! I stopped inside of the establishment 3 times with different questions and each time he was extremely helpful and understanding. His smile is infectious and he’s very knowledgeable. Thank you for turning a bittersweet moment into a memorable experience.
