Zero stars! (Contract # 74757270) I ordered this truck online and I don't have a receipt for what may a completely different Contract Number. This number was issued anew at 225 Long Avenue, Hillside, where I was redirected from Linden, which is what I reserved for. The U-haul facility in Linden overbooked.Stay away from these people, especially making reservations on their website unless you want to get ripped off!(1) They got my address wrong, (2) they charged me for a one-way rental instead of a round trip, (3) they charged me for insurance that I didn't want. (4) They never made clear their ridiculously high per-mile charges (but I can accept that because I used the miles)The total cost for a 5-foot 20-year OLD truck with an Ipod adapter, noisy belts and a small chip in the glass of the windshield that had been marked but not fixed and thankfully didn't grow any larger (I didn't notice it until too late) was north of Five Hundred Ninety Dollars ($590) for a 388-mile round trip.There is no record of the original terms I set up online. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!By the way, Penske is going to charge me less than HALF for the same trip with mileage! Do yourself a favor, go with ANYONE but these folks. All they're good for is renting trucks to terrorists and the criminally insane.Twenty-five years ago U-haul oversubscribed and left me without a truck while I had workers standing by. I can't believe I allowed this company to screw me again. The company deserves to go out of business.

Had to rent a u-haul truck from Hazlet NJ to Irvington NJ. The rep at the store told me that the closest u-haul in Elizabeth NJ was Linden NJ looking at my address. We told him we were not going to my home address and he said we could drop it off at any drop off point. We found a location in hillside close to Irvington NJ. I was unable to get the app to change the address from Linden to Hillside. I call customer service and the rep said that there was a fee for dropping it off at another location. I told him that the rep told me I could drop off at any drop off point. I had already dropped off the keys and truck at the hillside location but it appeared that he wasn't listening to a word I said. He told me to wait to see my charges in the next couple of days. I felt like he was calling me a liar. Why would I want to pay more if I did not have a choice.

UHaul, including this location, massively failed to live up to their agreement with me this fall and have subsequently failed to provide any restitution for damages and an utter lack of customer service. Go to Ryder or some other trick rental service; UHaul does not care about you at all.
