This review is roughly 23 years too late! I first went to Tim way back when my Arcam Alpha 9 CD Player stopped working. Tim fixed the player and also upgraded it to the latest firmware, etc. Last few years, I brought him a vintage Receiver which he did a tremendous job on! I was just thinking how I have some gear I need to bring to him, so glad to see he is still doing his thing and getting great (and deservedly so) reviews!!

This was my first time dealing with Tim due to a NAD preamp warranty repair. Outstanding customer service and super nice guy he is old school and knows electronics! Getting hard to find quality workmanship anymore Thanks Tim.

Can't say enough about how helpful, friendly, and transparent Tim is. It was my first time reaching out to Bristol Electronics, I was not an existing customer. Tim was able to diagnose and help me fix my issue all via email in a span of 24 hours -- really incredible response time and service. Highly recommended!

Tim has worked on my Scott 299-C, Marantz 2270 and Sansui 5000A. He was able fix problems that other, supposedly expert technicians could not diagnose. For example another vintage electronics technician had my Marantz and Sansui for two months before finally contacting me and saying he could not figure out the source of a short or channel failure. Tim correctly diagnosed and repaired both. He is honest, incredibly knowledgeable and extremely thorough. Be forewarned however, he is in very high demand. Don't expect a quick turnaround.

Absolutely great experience. Tim repaired my Macintosh equipment, did a fantastic job. Everything came back looking like new. He is fair, honest, articulate and prompt. I will be bringing the rest of my equipment in for Tim to refurbish so that it looks as good as what I just got back!
