Got my nails done last Sunday — dip powder with a chrome gel top coat — and I was really disappointed with the results. The chrome finish looked messy and uneven, especially around the cuticles and sides, which were filled with glitter and not cleaned up properly. It honestly looked like I did them myself at home.
On top of that, the top coat was full of tiny bubbles, making the nails look bumpy and poorly done. The chrome even started peeling the very next day, and now, a week later, the entire top coat is completely peeling off.
Definitely not the quality I expected.

This salon always is the best. I usually get regular pedicures and a acrylic fill. The salon is always clean and welcoming and all the ladies are so nice! I always feel relaxed and the prices are great! 10/10 would recommend. 💖

Fine if you don’t look too closely. I decided to venture out from my favorite salon in Manhattan to try Gotham Nails, which was $3 cheaper for a powder manicure ($50). Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth it — the manicure came out thick, lumpy and uneven in certain places. I had to try and file off certain places where the powder had bonded to my skin and under my nails. As it grows out, the uneven texture becomes even more obvious.

I’ve been coming to Gotham Nails for the past 10 years, and the girls here always make me so happy! Even though I don’t live in town, I make the drive because no one does my nails like they do. Their acrylic work is the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality and care. Gotham Nails is truly worth it!

This place is so terrible.. I had high expectations since it looked so nice and was in a good area in Hoboken. The ladies all were distracted and do terrible job doing longer nails would not recommend. And their prices are extremely high which is even worse never again coming here.
