Great Customer Service!! I've been a customer for over 20 years and can honestly say that it's always a pleasure to see the same faces when you walk in the bank, very rare these days.

Terrible customer service. Where to begin...- Open from 9am-1pm weekdays.- Never get back to your emails.- If you don't renew your property insurance, they wait until it expires for a month, then notify you via snail mail! That way they can charge you for that month.

I love Haven Savings. They are a small town bank that has always been very accommodating. They have been in Hoboken forever and know all of the business people and older residents. Tellers and customer service may not be the quickest because they actually talk to you and treat you like a person who they know. But it's rarely crowded, so the wait shouldn't be too long. If you like The St Ann's Feast (in Hoboken) because you feel like you've stepped back in time, you'll like Haven Savings.

Best banking services ever! Very friendly staff who know their customers. I have been with them for 30+ years. Customer service representatives and tellers are very knowledgeable and efficient.

Our mortgage was sold to them without our knowledge. Now we know why.

I opened and maintained a checking account at this bank since 1993. For 24+ years, I maintained the required $1,000 balance for the measly .01% interest they paid on the account. For 4 days this past February, due to overlapping checks and deposits, my balance dropped to $978. The bank levied a $10 fee, and will not reverse the fee. I think this is terrible customer service and hope no one who reads this ever uses any of the Haven Savings Bank branches. In a time when there are 100s of banks offering A LOT of incentives to open accounts with them, I'm astounded this bank could be so short sighted. I am closing my account ASAP which must be done in person. Grrr.

I had to deal with these people BC ******* sold my mortgage to them. Here are the reasons why you should never go to them: They open at 9AM, they stay in front of the door (inside the bank) and chit chat till 9AM sharp while there are people waiting outside If you need anything sorted out, they send you to another floor and make you do it yourself There is a safe full of paper on 2nd floor… so imagine how fast your queries are answered. After 4 months in to my mortgage and I had to go to them 3 times. (During my work hours) and sort out my payments. The slip stated that I only owe $250 and the teller said I can't take your payment more than the amont stated on the slip. then she realized that the amount in her computer is different. (non of them matched my actual mortgage amont) Somehow I have to go to them again BC a late charge added to my account. they lost my last payment. The tellers that I have talked to before have never heard anything about niceness, manner and customer service. (A nice looking lady in her 50s, who cared more about her nails than the customer) Forget about the payment over the web or phone. Just good old checks And that's just the beginning. Avoid them if you can
