ONE STAR but ONLY because Yelp won't allow a ZERO star rating. Truth be told, if I could give negative stars, I would. This store is horrible, with horrible service. Before Christmas I went to T-Mobile in Hoboken to purchase a gift. Since it was a gift, I asked no less than twice whether the item was returnable. I was told twice that the store had a 30-day return policy. As it turns out, I did, in fact, need to return the item. I went back to the store within the 30-day return window, only to be told that the store had a 14-day return policy, which had now passed. I asked to speak to the manager. I reiterated my issue, to which he said there was nothing he could do. He asked who the sales rep was. I said that I didn't catch his name. However, his sales rep # was listed on the receipt, but the manager did nothing with that information either. Interestingly enough, the manager suggested that I "try" to return the item "at a different store." To which I replied, "why would I do that when I purchased it here?" He, of course, had no response, and simply turned his back to me. I requested to speak to his supervisor. He said no supervisors were there at that time. So, I requested the name and telephone number of his supervisor. He again refused and walked away. I would recommend that NO ONE EVER SHOP AT THIS STORE.

At first I would have given 5 stars, especially to Harold who was super helpful yesterday, selling me a SIM with enough data for a 7 day visit. BUT once in Manhattan ....no coverage whatsoever. Get back to Hoboken, and ping. Coverage. Same thing today - wandering around Manhattan with no coverage, which totally defeats the purpose!!!! Arrived at the T mobile store at 5:10 and the young chap in store refused to talk to me, telling me they were closed. Where I come from, this is super poor customer "service". This person should be bending over backwards to help me, after selling a product that doesn't work. Will NOT be recommending T mobile to fellow travellers.

Went there because I had a problem with my cell. Spoke with Alex, and he was very helpful and guided me to the proper channels to get it fix also he made sure that I had all the pertinent information to get it fixed. Thanks again

Nice store conveniently located on Washington Ave. There were other customers in the store before me yet I was able to get assistance right immediately upon entry.

I went to the store and this employee by the name of Chris. Try to assist me we went back-and-forth. I told them how I paid my bill last week. He kept saying he don't know how to do it. Only a certain way, Chris, you need better training. Thank you to the other employee who assists me. Please train your employees the right way, Hoboken store.

Stopped by at this shop for new lines and device for my business. Reached at around 7:30 pm with the store close time being 8pm, but Jamie hung around for a little longer and helped with the new device and new lines. It was kind and professional of him to overstay beyond the closing hours and understand my urgency. Kudos and a big shout out to Jamie for his assistance.

i bought two lines from this store and they signed me up for three lines. took months to resolve with customer care. cell service is good but sales team is sketchy. beware.

Android Auto suddenly stopped working and I tried everything suggested with no luck. Jaime came out to my car and did some magic to get it working again. Jaime has been very helpful on other occasions when there were issues with a phone or my account.The Hoboken store is by far the best T-Mobile store that I have viaites!

Not helpful at all. They “tried to help” us and had us - on a Saturday evening during the Holiday Season - waiting for almost 2 hours on a call with T-Mobile customer service…without any additional help. Same “offers” as before the call, and not honoring the promo offers that are advertised on the screens of the store. Never going back here again and switching phone service providers now.

Came in to trade in an old phone and upgrade. Great customer service and friendly staff, they explained all the billing to me and was very patient with the transfer process. Highly recommend

I walked in for an upgrade, and was greeted by a staff of flat-mannered, sarcastic individuals who were clearly burnt out and had no interest in providing any sort of service that the brand promises to deliver. When you set foot in here, prepare to be met by bureaucratic incompetence of no fault of the employees, but who are nonetheless defensive about their own inefficiencies. They make you call the corporate HQ for matters they should be able to handle on their own, and while you are doing their job for them, they are helping other customers who came in after you.
