Wow. And a huge thank you to manager, Hanud! I went to Switzerland and when I arrived, I wasn't able to make or receive calls, send or receive texts. I spent HOURS on a borrowed phone with Verizon customer service who were useless. Had to buy a Swiss SIM card to use while there. As soon as I returned, went to the Verizon store in Hoboken where Hanud quickly diagnosed the problem and knew what to do to get my phone up and running again. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. Thank you!!

When I first got to the store, I was being helped by a lady. Everything was fine , the lady asked for my ID - there were some issues there because I had lost my ID and was trying to open up my temporary one. As I was trying to get a hold of my ID or provide any sort of identification, the ENTIRE time the other older man working at the store kept talking over the lady who was initially helping me. He was loud, obnoxious, he kept repeating whatever the lady was saying in a demeaning tone. The older man was extremely rude and didn't provide any help whatsoever. He kept repeating the same thing over and over again to the point where I had to tell him he is not providing any solutions for me. I didn't have my account information and tried to call my mom who was the account holder - and as I was speaking with my mom the older man KEPT interrupting me, talking over me to the point where I could not hear what my mom was saying on the phone. The whole situation could have been resolved if he just stayed quiet and let the lady help me. He should just mind his own business next time because he just made matters only worse, and on top of that solved NOTHING. As someone who works in this field who talks to clients all day, I'd recommend the older man to fix his attitude or work somewhere where he does not need to speak to anyone. Rudest encounter I've ever had. NEVER GOING BACK, and I don't recommend ANYONE coming to this store.

Made an appointment to activate my new phone that I purchased directly from Verizon. When I walked in, the older gentleman that was supposed to help me acted annoyed that I was even there. He told me that he couldn't help with the activation because their Wi-Fi was not powerful enough and it would take 2 hours to transfer all my data from my old phone. He further mentioned that they stopped helping with activations because of COVID and even Apple stopped helping with activating phones (later confirmed that this is completely false). Not really sure how activating a phone is associated with COVID but I guess if you don't feel like doing your job, you'll come up with any bizzare excuse. I've been with Verizon for 9 years and have been getting iPhones almost every year and never had this problem. He told me I should go home and connect to my wifi and activate the phone myself. Knowing that this just did not sound the least bit acceptable, I was able to go to a Verizon store in NYC and they activated/transferred all my data in literally less than 30 mins. If this store can't help with activating/setting up new phones they should take it off their website so customers don't waste their time coming in for an appointment. The old grumpy employee should also work on his customer service.

I bought a new iPhone here this week, and it was an excellent experience. Everything went smoothly--even transferring all my data from my ancient iPhone SE to the iPhone 12. Lou was amazing. He showed me what all my options were and didn't try to influence my decision. He was a pleasant and knowledgeable professional. I would definitely recommend this store, and I would certainly go back there again.

I hate to even write this, but I feel the need to. Now, please keep in mind that I am writing this not to defend myself, but to reveal the arrogance of the staff expecially the gentleman that helped me. I had ordered a phone to be picked up. Yes, I did read that I needed to bring in a photo ID along with the card I used to purchase the phone.... long story short.... I forgot my wallet. I had the card on me that I purchased the phone with along with my husbands ID (who is on the account), my registration, insurance card, debit card, and my son with we. Now I get it... I did not have my ID on me.... again.... I understand that I did not have my photo ID.... as I was trying to convince them that I desparately needed my phone... I started to say that I couldn't even pay the parking meter..... I was then cut off by the man helping me who arrogantly said, "well it's not verizon's fault that you couldn't pay the meter".... I was completely taken back. Obviously I know that it's not verizons fault....I was trying to prove how desparately I needed the phone because it wasn't working for me to even pull up the app. Being spoken to like that is completely degrading and belittling as if I was suggesting that Verizon had anything to do with it. I was just in need of a working phone.... plus I had already paid for the phone. The other woman that was working just kept her head resting on her hand. Thank god my son was with me. I was able to keep my cool. I will never go back to that store. I got my phone and got the case I needed. Walked out and haven't been able to shake that feeling of being spoken to that way. Sorry for the typos... was in a hurry but wanted my message out there!

My mom is a Sr. she stopped in the store last Thursday with her friend. Arlene a Verizon rep. showed her a discontinued phone in a box & said they had 3 of them in stock. I called to ask the model, spoke to a nice rep Chauncey. On Sunday early afternoon I went to the store, Rachel said they don't have the phone, another rep Ahmed who I later found out is the Store manager got up to open one drawer, he was sitting next to her. She went on line & said I could buy it from Amazon for $150.? I explained the basic phones have bad reviews & my mom needs a reliable phone. Ahmed & Rachel could care less. As Ahmed started telling me there is no LG basic phones in the store, Rachel moved on, got up & started helping someone else like I didn't matter. I said thank you for nothing & walked out. As I was walking home I called customer service, explained the situation, they called the store, Ahmed said they didn't have the phone & forgot to hang up. My agent heard him making fun of the situation & joking about it, saying NO we don't have the phone BYE?! THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD, WILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS STORE! VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH VERIZON WIRELESS! Thinking of changing companies after 15 years. I feel that seniors don't matter to them at all.

I have to say that STEVEN is by far the best I've ever had to assist me with anything phone related! He cares so much about each customers experience, as well as getting them the best possible plan and phone for them! He's transparent and even fights for you if something may not be working out in your favor. He's VIP!

The staff at this location are extremely friendly and helpful! I had an issue with a phone screen protector bought there the other day where they made the entire process stress free by helping me resolve the issue. The staff was even kind enough to help put the screen protector on my new phone as well which was great since I had issues! I would recommend this location to anyone close by who needs any help.

I had a horrible experience at this store. The girl assisting me as I bought my iPhone XS never transferred my number over from my new phone, and just told me to wait a few hours for it to work itself out. After being off the grid for 3 hours, I ran to grand central Apple store in the city and they fixed it within minutes. I'm done using Verizon besides paying for my phone bill - they just try to push their products, and merchandise and this Hoboken store in particular were filled with staff members who cared more about chatting with each other instead of helping out paying customers. WILL NEVER GO BACK.

Shout-out to Terrell at this location! He was super helpful and patient with my husband and me while switching plans and getting new phones! The place is under construction right now so it doesn't look the best-but that should be done in a few weeks.

Our initial visit was very pleasant and the staff was very attentive. We went to get my husband a new google phone. They were running a buy one apple get another free. We took the deal and added a third line for my old apple phone. We also bought an apple watch, car charger, two cases, two pricey screen protectors and a compact portable charger. Our Verizon is pretty high right now. The car charger broke, defective not mishandled, after 3 weeks. We were traveling and had to buy a new charger on the road. When I went by today there was a completely different crew. There were about to give me a new one with this "older" sales rep took a look and said "you broke it and that's not under warranty". We have one much older car charger, plus the new one we bought on the road and they are doing fine. We KNOW how to use a charger without breaking it Vinny!!...but even so..we just spent hundreds of dollars at the store and will be paying a higher bill. BAD customer service..

What more can I say about the store every time I have a new should I just come there is a rising star and I always always always get what I need the staff is wonderful show low I can't say anything else I just graded what are you doing I appreciate everything you do for me you have to visit the spot
