RUDEEEEE!!!!!!! i came in doing an instacart order and it was super disorganized. aside from that i got what i needed and went to the line. i usually say hi or greet them but i noticed how the cashier was and didn’t say anything like i usually do. so the lady at the cashier is definitely old i think she had glasses and looked indian or egyptian (not sure honestly). once she checks everything she doesn’t ask if i want a bag, which is understandable, but come on most if not all cashiers ask if you want one. so i say “sorry can i get a bag?” (she’s lucky she got the sorry) so she rudely HANDS the bag to me, unopened so that I can do it. (i have 0 problems doing it but it’s YOUR job to bag items as a CASHIER????) and i also reach my hand over to grab the receipt because i noticed that it printed and she was grabbing it and instead of putting it in my hand, she ignores it and places it on the counter AWAY from it?? so i took my time and bagged it and didn’t say a word to that stupid a-hole… next time (if i go) she will be having a conversation about respect. and i hope she reads this review too.

I hate having to write a 1 star review, but this Walgreens needs to be knocked down or bought by another pharmacy. It’s understaffed, and the staff they do have are rude and unhelpful. They never have inventory. It was literally robbed right in front of me. They don’t have any self check-outs, and only have 1 person working all the registers. I ordered a print and they didn’t notify me that they couldn’t print it because they haven’t stocked paper. It’s all just a mess.

I should have read the reviews before… the most pathetic and unfriendly cashiers … I will never spend another dime at this store again it was the worst service I’ve ever had. If you want to preserve your peace don’t enter this Walgreens

Don't shop in this store. As soon you get to the door there's always a homeless person harassing you for money. And the employees love the homeless people over their customers. Don't waste your money there.

Store is chronically out of stock on basic items, the refrigerators have been broken for months so no cold items are available, and the UPS drop off/pick up service is unreliable

I had a visit there today and the pharmacy staff here are very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Idk why they are like that. Very hostile

In general, I have learned to just hate Walgreens. I am so disappointed that Walgreens bought out the Rite Aid stores in Hoboken. Rite Aid was SO much of a better store (and still is) in terms of prices, selection, and service. Rite Aid has kept the HIGI kiosks, which I used regularly. The prices at Walgreens seem to be literally 30-50% higher than the CVS stores in Hoboken...and way WAY higher than neighboring Rite Aid stores.I now try to avoid shopping at Walgreens. I've taken my business to Rite Aid (in Manhattan)!!! Even shopping in Manhattan is less expensive than paying the prices at Walgreens in Hoboken. Just today, I found a cold product (generic--Walgreens brand) that was literally 300% (i.e., 3 Xs) higher in price than the same product at Walmart. It was prices 2Xs more than similar product at CVS two blocks away.I like the store clerks and the pharmacist at Walgreens in upper Hoboken--but it is the seeming general corporate policies of Walgreens that I detest. Why did they remove the HIGI kiosk stations when Walgreens took over Rite Aid?? They were not taking up too much space!! I think they did it so that their customers would be forced to purchase their OVER-PRICED little blood pressure kits! Walgreens impresses me as a corporate outfit that is all about greed... (I'm at attorney, and can spot this when I see it. GREED...)

Last night I shipped a package from this location but forgot to take a picture of the label/ get a receipt and Brianna from this location was the most helpful person this morning. She patiently assisted me on finding my package to ensure it was shipped out. I’m really thankful for her help and kindness!

Can’t agree more about the most unfriendly cashier in the neighborhood. Right next to the pharmacy is Trader Joe’s with the best customer service and helpful staff who walk you to the aisle you’re looking for.You say thank you to the first cashier many customers before me have mentioned and hear nothing in return. Nothing. Shame. Is that the best you can do, Walgreens? Or afraid to even reprimand someone because of political correctness?

I'm always going to post a warranted review. Went to store about an hr ago for the basics. A worker named Isaac was soooo incredibly kind, personable and exceptionally helpful. I won't write a review for a soley "nice person" as I suppose we expect basic politeness in customer service but he was exceptional! GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE! I told him I was going to write him a review so I hope you see this and keep doing what you are doing. People like you and service like yours is what keeps customers coming back

If you are reading this I am begging you to pick up your medication elsewhere. The pharmacy at this location must have the most incompetent person filling medicine that I have ever dealt with. I have been filling medicine here for 2 years. She unable to input the correct insurance info, unable to transfer medicine from any other Walgreens location, unable to see more than 1 customer 10 mins. In the past 6 months I have tried to pick up medicine on 6 different occasions. Perhaps 1 of those 6 times was less than a 30 min wait. And maybe once I got my medicine without a new and different issue that she wasn't able to solve. There are plenty of pharmacies in the area. Do yourself a huge favor. Choose any other one.

I have never been so mortified and disrespected in my life. I am a Nurse Practitioner and just moved to Hoboken 2 weeks ago. I was picking up my medications, and while I was waiting for the status of one medication, the pharmacist Mathew Romano comes up to me and with attitude starts questioning me as to why I am picking up one of my medications in Hoboken when I used to pick it up in Morris county. I kindly respond that I just moved to the area 2 weeks ago. He then proceeds to accuse me that because my "old address does not match up with the new address it looks like you are drug shopping "and that I am "too early to pick up my medication"... in front of everyone!!! It would have been fine if he stopped after making me aware that it is too early to pick up my one medication because I honestly did not know. However, he kept continuing asking me how many pills I have left.. and I told him I'm not sure maybe 13 I'm not sure I dont count my medications.. . I work 12 hour shifts, 60 hours a week, and when my walgreens app tells me there is a re-fill I try to refill it since I never have time to pick up my medications due to my long work hours. He then smirks and laughs saying if that if that is so, I am supposed to be having way more than that. I had to defend myself and tell him I am an NP and im not seeking or shopping.. i just honestly did not know i was early! It is so sad that I experienced this and I did not have to justify and explain myself to him. There is already a stigma for mental health and the way he judged and spoke to me makes me very upset, disrespected and mortified. I am a provider myself and the way this man spoke to me is not okay. I came home tearful and upset the rest of the day. I would never speak to my patients or judge my own patients this way. If you are reading this, I would recommend searching patients names under PMP Aware prior to making such a bold accusation if you are truly concerned about drug shopping. Please do better and learn how to treat people well- with respect, judge free and without bias.

I was subjected to hostility from your employees. The cash register employee was frustrated that she couldn’t take my credit card from me. I suspected that this behavior was intentional. I also was curious about a food product that was supposed to be recalled, and was still on sale in the refrigerator. The food was a waffle breakfast product.
