Washington General Store is one of the most beautiful and authentic stores in Hoboken. It is a favorite little shop with curated collections of everything, featuring very classy, cute, and well-priced stuff. The shop is known for its gifts, including jewelry, seasonal decor, Thanksgiving hosting decor, Christmas ornaments, and personalized gifts made quickly. The collections are updated with the seasons and keep up with the styles. The staff is really helpful, lovely, and good at suggesting gifts. For a relatively small shop, they have a lot of really cute and unique things compared to other stores. It can get crowded inside. Some find it lacking in variety at certain times, but people keen on holidays and decorating like it a lot. Many plan to return for holiday shopping or to see what is new.
A wide range of unique gift items available at reasonable prices. I like that they have Hoboken and Jersey branded stuff too. The staff is quite helpful.
