“I am a frequent shopper in multiple locations near me however I was in the Holmdel N.J. location where I encountered a young lady cashier with an attitude there is a single line where you are called to a register to check out she said something about #4 but was at another register talking to another employee so I said "I'm sorry excuse me did you say that you are open on register #4" she responded with an attitude that she was on #4 and proceed to continue talking with the other employee finally she came over to the register and started to check out my items by throwing them at me while I was bagging and then stated that I was unable to take the cart out of the store since they have a pole in them I advised her that all of the other cashiers allow me to remove the pole go and load my items into my car then return the cart back to store and reinstall the pole back to the cart; since I am disabled.She kept saying that "I said that you can not take the cart out of the store"I paid for my items and went to leave while trying to remove the pole she started screaming for the other employee who came out yelling at me and that I can not take the cart out of the store I explained that all of the other cashiers allow me to take it out and I return it back to the store and reinstall the pole now both of them are yelling at me that I can not take the cart out of the store now I had to go back and forth in the pouring rain bag by bag.This is absolutely ridiculous just because your employees don't want to go retrieve any stray carts from the parking lot.Due to this I will not be shopping in here any longer.”
“Ocean State Job Lot is my go to store for great low prices for all those items you need for kitchen bathrooms and all around household needs and they have a huge assortment of great snacks also”
“Actually my favorite place on earth. It’s like a treasure hunt - you never know what you will find and they have the most insane deals ever. I regularly drive 25 mins out of my way just to go here even tho I have like 10 other grocery stores within 5-10 mins from my home. Don’t go here with a grocery list because they don’t always have everything you typically need, just go with an open mind and you’ll find some fun stuff at really good prices. If you like grocery shopping and finding great deals I bet you’ll have fun here. They also have such a good selection of vegan items!”

“I went into the Rt 9 Old Bridge store just after 8am today. I was greeted by polite staff who were stocking shelves. The shelves were packed with the latest holiday decor and "influencer suggested" items. I couldn't believe the selection of old and new items! The store was clean and "weird smell free".
I highly recommend this Dollar Tree location not just for their stock but for the friendly, hard working and courteous staff as well!”

“Always a good shopping trip since I am a dollar store junkie wether you're buying greeting cards, wrapping paper, balloons, office/school supplies, batteries, candy, food items, baby products, soaps and cleaning supplies, decorations, kitchen items etc you can always find something so stop by and check it out for yourself
Back at it again today I stopped in for greeting cards and walked out with $40 in merchandise I also took a look at the stuff that isn't a $1.00 or should I say $1.25 & or $1.50 the Easter & out door items are pretty cute so you know that I will be back soon
By the way there's still St. Valentine's Day items in stock at half price
If you need a new pillow for your bed they now sell them here that surprised me seeing them, that's just it you never know what you might find here so why don't you stop in one of their locations and see what they have for yourself

“My experience was not great today 2/14/26. The cashier was antagonizing my 4 year old great-nephew. My sister was trying to give him an experience of paying for items. He was putting the money on the counter and still had the items in his hand. The cashier was like we will have to call the police on you and that made my nephew go stand behind my sister, I am saying we don’t do that, another comment was I will have you work for us mopping the ceiling. I said we don’t do that either. I made my purchase and took my nephew outside while his grandma paid for the items. I wanted to tell her about herself but didn’t want to make a scene in front of my nephew. I was pissed. She messed up a learning experience for a 4 year old. Disappointed!!!”
