This bank participates in usery. First blindsiding customers with turning on overdraft protection that you don’t know about and can’t turn off via online. Second charging $36 on each and every $5.99, $9.99, $22.00, $50. Ach debit. Took over $200 of my $460 Paycheck. That is absolutely disgusting and usurious!! Called customer service today and they said they would refund them again since I had no idea overdraft protection was turned on without my knowledge. I just called two weeks ago with the same problem and they told me to shut off my debit card which I did. No one, until today, told me I had this usurious overdraft protection turned on. I would have shut it off immediately!!! Still waiting on these fees to be removed since talking with the supervisor this morning. I want to close this account asap but can’t until they refund me! I would never knowingly sign up for overdraft protection EVER! I just want my money refunded so I can go to another bank that does not participate in these kind of practices to make money off their customers.

Worst bank customer service. All other branches are amazing but holmdel should be shut down or restaffed. Multiple terrible experiences. I now go to a bank further from my home because of lack of faith in them.

Don’t get a car loan here, they will just charge you for insurance and add it to your loan if you don’t send them your insurance every year. Even if you DO send it to them within 15 days of receiving the second notice, to the email inbox they do not check but once a month, you will STILL be charged. My twin died last year and I was late, and this was the thanks I get for paying on time for 3 years.
