332 Durban Ave, HopatcongAs a newbie to Hopatcong, I had to share my recent experience. My dog was bitten by a neighbors unleashed dog. Gianna runs the Hopatcong shelter (and 3 others) and also Animal Control. She’s a fantastic young woman with so much responsibility I truly don’t know how she handles it all so well! She handled the bite situation perfectly and quickly. The shelter is so clean and those dogs and cats are so well cared for by her & Jessica, another very nice employee. I’m so impressed & will volunteer any time I have to help them. Please volunteer even if you have one hour a week, they run it alone & need the help. And it’s a great way to serve our community?? Thank you Gianna & Jessica!
