Hopewell Veterinary Group is nicely located w a decently sized parking lot so you’ll never have to worry about not finding a spot.

The staff was nothing but wonderful! Special shout out to vet tech Brianna Bauer & Dr Navarro who helped make my boy comfortable while keeping me informed & working impeccably well around my tough work schedule.

I am so happy to have found a vet that really puts the furbabies first! They made sure to take care of my boy Maverick & I will most certainly be coming back!”

Edit: One year later, we had our annual physical today. We met with Dr. Chabot (we’ve seen all three doctors at the animal hospital. All three are amazing). She answered our questions, and made Fiona very comfortable during her 3 shots and bloodwork. Fiona barks and sometimes growls at people she is not familiar with. She did not bark or growl during her appointment. Mommy attributes this to how comfortable the doctors and vet techs make her feel! We’ll be back in the future!”

“I brought my dog here about a month ago to be treated for GVD/bloat, where he received emergency surgery. He has since fully recovered and is doing wonderfully! A huge thank you to his surgeon, Dr. Klatzkow, and all the incredible staff whose names I unfortunately didn’t get for saving his life that night. They were also more than helpful with all of my follow-up questions. I’d like to especially shout out Finn, the receptionist, who was lovely company on one of the worst nights of my life!

Two words of advice for fellow owners: First, definitely call ahead if you’re in an emergency situation so that they can thoroughly prepare- it can save you precious time. Overnight staff is limited and if they’re already occupied with a true emergency, you will not be able to receive help. Always call! Second, emergency care is expensive and that is not your vet’s fault! Who ever heard of becoming a veterinarian for the money? ? Pet care is not subsidized by the govt. like human medical care, so prepare with an emergency fund and/or get pet insurance! We came in uninsured and paid about 8k, you bet I signed him up for pet insurance two days later!”

Clover Hill is among the best we've seen: very compassionate, easily accessible, and thoughtful. Perhaps more importantly, the staff here make you feel like you're deciding on your pet's treatment TOGETHER.”

“I first met Dr Chris G. Interning with Dr Robertson at Lawrence animal hospital. I trusted him there ...and I trust him now . He's an amazing Vet that really cares about his pts. He's not about the money. That is a hard thing to find nowadays.

Gasiorowski Took her to surgery. His skill and the actions of the rest of the team at mid Atlantic saved our horses life. Their care was excellent and I cannot recommend them more highly. “This place is amazing. After a bad visit to a pet ER my cat was still sick. I called Progressive and Gwenn was super sweet and understanding about my concerns for my cat and got us in right away. Every single step of the way was explained in way I could understand. The vet tech Carrie was so gentle and caring and Dr T was amazing. They were in constant communication with us. Explained everything by using the actual x rays and toxology reports, so we could understand it. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Left us Feeling a lot better about my cat's health.And even sent treats and toys home for our other cats. Thank you so very much for all you did.”

“We have been taking our dog Neo to Homecare Vet Clinic since we adopted him from the shelter 5 years ago. The last few days Neo has had a nasty cough and I called over the July 4th weekend and was put on a last min appointment waiting list and promptly Monday morning I received a text for an appt that afternoon. I can’t express how pleasant every interaction with the team at Homecare has been. From the reception desk to the vet techs, and doctor herself. Everyone on staff is so nice and the care and attention they give Neo is so special even when we moved a bit farther away, we make the journey to their office. Every time we visit we walk away knowing what the plan of care is whatever the illness, we know should we need to try something different we can come back with open arms and everything is always explained in great detail and attention. I love that they follow up to check in as well, truly just a great vets office. I just had to share what a fantastic team they are to anyone who is thinking of taking their pup don’t doubt it! “My pets have been patients of Flemington veterinary hospital for about 9 years now, and we have always experienced excellent care. Every doctor on staff has been caring and exceptional. The auxiliary staff has always been courteous and very helpful about getting us in quickly and very efficient with returning calls. I’ve never had an unsatisfactory visit between all three of my dogs for a variety of visits including well visits, sick visits, and surgical procedures. Strongly recommend this practice.”

“We found Dr. Newman and Harlingen after suffering through three different bad experiences, judgmental attitudes and expensive misdiagnoses in the Bridgewater area. Our Miniature Schnauzer was finally diagnosed with a congenital shunt defect which required special care/diet/medicine following a consultation at the Cornell Veterinarian Medical School. Dr. Newman took care of our schnauzer and gave annual feedback to the specialist for the duration of her 13 years. Dr. Newman was there when we had to say goodbye. It has taken us several years to feel that we could bring another dog into our family but recently became the owners of a new miniature schnauzer puppy. We could not wait to introduce her to Dr. Newman and the staff at Harlingen. They have been nothing but kind and professional over the years, always helpful; provide basic as well as advanced information and resources if needed; they always provide honest feedback when questions are asked. We never felt rushed; we never felt imposed upon financially. They are even willing to give you financial estimates if needed ahead of time. We recommend Harlingen whenever asked for a vet reference. For those people giving feedback about the wait, it is very difficult to provide quality medical care on a clock. You cannot have compassionate care and be on time always. I know this because I also work in human healthcare and being on time is always a challenge. Each visit presents unique concerns and care. I will always choose compassionate quality care over on-time performance and I am willing to wait for it. My recommendation is to always allow enough time to wait if that is your primary concern.”

“I am putting five stars, because Dr Nelson was five stars for a very long time. He has family upfront and another great front office staff person. For a very long time this all works so well and I loved going in there as long as I had a fairly healthy animal course, so it was very upsetting to me to see this change and I'm having a hard time replacing him, but I must. His ability now in 2024 has deteriorated and sadly, I also witnessed him attempting to euthanize a dog that my friend brought in and he virtually couldn't do it --he was poking at the veins. He didn't use the pink juice. What can I say!?!... he was quite agitated...but it just seems that he's got a great office staff, a great reputation, and it's time to retire and enjoy the rest of your time.”

“Dr. Opdyke is great, Voorhees Corner Veterinary clinic is a small clinic with a staff of 3. We brought one of our dogs to Voorhees Vet Clinic after an emergency room visit to Crown Vet. Dr. Opdyke was receptive of the information that I had and actually thoroughly looked over our dogs records from his previous vet. We received a treatment plan to address his condition and were encouraged to follow up with a scheduled specialist appointment. This is something our last vet did not do and often discouraged.”
