The CVS pharmacy inside Target in Howell, NJ is the only pharmacy me and my fiancé will go to. The pharmacy staff is the biggest reason for this. Bijal, Hunter, Remy, Jatinder and more are all just wonderful human beings and fantastic at their jobs. They will get everything you need done quickly without sacrificing quality and without disregarding your needs. Your prescriptions will be filled faster then you’d expect but they will never make you feel rushed out, if you need explanations or more information about medications or vaccines they will take the time to go over whatever you need. They are all extremely knowledgeable but also humble enough to admit that they don’t know everything and when they don’t they will make sure to either find the information out for you or provide you with the resources you need to do so. I cannot say enough about the excellent service at this pharmacy, we’ve been going for years and have no intention of ever switching to a different location.

The CVS pharmacy in Target in Howell, NJ is the only pharmacy me and my fiancé Allen will go to. (He’s also left a review describing his very similar, wonderful experiences. I’m including this because I don’t want anyone to think it odd that two reviews close together are so similar). There are a number of reasons for this including the small distance from our home to the pharmacy, the cleanliness of the facility and the overall environment but by far the biggest reason that we love this pharmacy is the staff. There are many staff members that we love. Bijal, Hunter, Remy, Jatinder and others. They are exceptional people who make everything easy to understand, they get your prescriptions together quickly, give you all the kindness and respect you deserve. They are attentive and intelligent, kind and helpful, and they make every experience delightful. I have severe anxiety and issues with focus and memory. They help me so much navigating the pharmacy with both of these issues. They are understanding of my anxiety and so they make sure to be calm and reassuring, they’ve all built a rapport with me that makes me feel safe and will always be lighthearted and joke and make me laugh, overall keeping my mind in a good place whilst I’m there, that kind of treatment sticks with people and it can boost my mood for the rest of the day. I need to come to the pharmacy weekly so I’ve gotten to know the staff quite well and while errands aren’t something to look forward to, the interactions with them are and that makes it easier for me to leave my home and go to the pharmacy. When it comes to my memory issues, the staff is excellent (particularly Bijal and Hunter since I happen to see them most often) they help me keep track of refills. Some examples are, reminding me when a medication will be refilled and letting me know when it’s my last refill and I need to see or contact my doctor. When it comes to vaccines, I know I can always ask them what vaccines I’ve had and when if I need that information. They also keep me up to date on what vaccines I’m getting close to needing and if I want they explain to me the pros and cons of each vaccine. I consider these things to be going above and beyond. They’ve helped me in these regards better then some primary care doctors I’ve had in the past. All of this is a long way to say that I and my fiancé feel incredibly lucky to have this team of pharmacists. I would recommend this pharmacy to literally anyone and everyone.

Absolutely some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from a healthcare professional. Avoid having your prescriptions filled here. They fail to communicate medicine stocking issues with their customers when the customer relies on a prescribed medication. I reiterate AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Use a local small pharmacy where your commerce feeds the mouths of your neighbor’s businesses. Not a corporate entity that is all about pushing high overpriced meds for their shareholders.

Our pharmacist Kelly is the best! She is genuinely concerned for the customers. She is always very friendly and very informative. She takes time out to help my husband and I with medications and any questions. She truly cares about her job and we love her!
