This is the only store (Leslie’s in this area, Howell and Freehold locations) I’m familiar with where you need to call before you go there to make sure they are actually open. Is your Internet working? Is your POS system working? Is the Water test computer working? Do have test kits? Is your A.C. unit working? Yes? Well hot damn I’m on my way!Edit: follow up. Changing this from 2 stars to 1 star. I went back to this god foresaken place to buy some liquid chlorine. The internet went down again while I was there. I swiped my CC 3 times trying to see if it would go through at the direction of the assistant manager (pretty sure assistant manager is the entry level position at Leslie’s). No luck. I ended up paying cash. Guess what happened? A day later their internet came back online and their POS system charged my credit card! So I paid twice for the privilege of shopping with them.

Just called to get more information about purchasing an above ground pool and was immediately put on hold. The lady working was having a personal conversation with someone at the store about her email instead of taking my call and did not bother to mute the call. I hung up. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I've been going to Leslie's for a long time and they may have had their employee challenges in the past but my recent experience with Dawn was excellent. I made a big purchase over the phone and she answered every question I had and then had it waiting with my name on it when I stopped in. Even steered me towards a purge purchase for my hot tub which turned out to be a game changer! Thanks Dawn!

I went to Leslie's pool for my spa I was quite impressed. I met with the store manager Dawn. I found a very intelligent competent store manager who knew about pools and spas. It's quite refreshing to see a person working at a chain like Leslie's as professional and knowledgeable as she was. I witnessed another customer making a purchase and how attentive she was to his needs and recommending the different sales so he can save money on his supplies.

I have to say that I am absolutely thrilled with having this store so close to my home for so many years. Every time I go in I am happily greeted by Gail, the manager. My customer service is top knotch! She always is respectful, helpful and even amazing! I went for weeks when the stores AC was broken, she was there with FANS!! IT WAS 102° OUT! She is dedicated. Not sure where the bad reviews came from but I'll tell you... the Store is great, every time I go in everyone is complimenting Gail. Customer service, price and knowledge is first class at the Howell Leslie's. Trust me.

Went to the store just now for a water test and I could not be more pleased with the service I have been getting this year. The manager was very helpful and informative about what is going on with my water. It made my day because she showed how much she cared and was patient with me, showing me that she cared about her job and her customers. Most of the time when I take the trip, there is one person working in the store by themselves and I can see the hard work every single employee that works here puts in. I am welcomed with such great, friendly people that always tell me exactly what I need for the health of my pool. Although sometimes I have to wait, because the employees tend to deal with hectic customers on a delay basis, I wait my turn because I know I will get the right information I need.My family has been able to enjoy the pool all summer without any problems this summer. I will definitely be returning next year for the summer season. If you are looking for a pool place to go to, take a trip to Leslie’s in the Howell location, you won’t regret it.

This specific stores management has honestly, and I say with all seriousness, the worst customer service and attitude I have ever encountered. I am a first time pool owner and went in asking for simple products and needed guidance on them from a "pool store employee" but was met with such distaste and horrible attitude. The manager an older lady would not give a name but she proceeded to kick us out of the store and threaten to call the cops. I am not a "karen" and honestly never leave reviews... but this time I absolutely needed to, hopefully to save others from going to this store... I would give a 0 out of 5 stars if I could.

Would give this store zero stars if I could. The most useless pool store. They never have anything you need in stock and if you ask a question all you get back is attitude. The one with the most attitude too is the manager. Don't waste your time here

Horrible experience! Stay away from this place! I dropped off my pool cleaner for repair in May! The employee I dealt with was miserable and informed me to call the company myself and see if my warranty was still in effect . I called the next day and I Informed her it was. She reported it could take 2 weeks -4 months to fix . I called at least four times in the coming weeks and finally was told by an employee not to call again that they would call me when the cleaner was fixed. I finally went into the store about seven weeks later to see the status in the same miserable woman told me that she was never informed of the warranty and nothing was done blatantly lied to my face take the extra few minutes and go to another service Center this place is ridiculous

Can give this place less than one star. Counter person Gail has zero personality, refuses to assist customers as if it is a bother to just be in the store working. Went to the store for a price adjustment and she refused to assist. If I gold give less than one star I would. Anyone that has had an issue with her should call corporate. In reading through the reviews she is mentioned a few times. Needs a new job somewhere else.

Closed at 220 pm on 06/08. No signs on the door except the one that says they should be open. I guess call first or go somewhere else before wasting a trip.
