Dawn, the General Manager, is the utmost professional individual to deal with. Dawn and her team are attentive and personable. The location is clean, secure, and well kept. I highly recommend this location for your storage needs.

You honestly will not find a better U-Haul location than this one in Howell, NJ. I randomly chose this location because it popped up when the dates were unavailable at my preferred location. I wanted the install of my Mom’s trailer hitch done on a Monday and this location showed availability. I chose the style of hitch and all the parts we needed, then chose a date and time. Finalized the transaction for what I thought was a Monday, and it ended up being Tuesday. I called and spoke with Alan T. to reschedule but he said the order was already in and they would be shipping the parts soon. I told him we will figure out a way to make Tuesday work instead. I met my mom at this location on Monday afternoon to drop the car off a day early and hope it would get done at a decent time the next day, when the appointment was actually scheduled for. I was blown away by how nice, clean and modern this location was. Absolutely beautiful building, landscaping out front, and very organized on the inside. I went in and met Alan, and he was even nicer in person! We dropped the keys with him and told him we would be back tomorrow. I decided to bring Mom back a little earlier the next day so I could try and catch an earlier flight home. She did non mind waiting for her car to be ready. We pulled up at 10:30am and noticed that her car was already being worked on, which we were happy about. Not even 3 minutes after we parked, her car pulls up right next to us with the trailer hitch installed!! This was absolutely perfect timing and we were so happy that it was completed so quickly. Jeff Strauss was the gentlemen who brought her car up and was also the installer. He was super nice and even secured Mom’s exhaust pipe mount that was not attached in the middle as a courtesy! We were both so extremely pleased with everything about this U-Haul location and cannot recommend them enough! Amazing customer service and a perfect trailer installation at an affordable price!! You will not regret choosing them for all your moving and storage needs!! :-)

This facility is way ahead of the others on town. Climate controlled, garage bays you load/unload in, state of the art security system. Much better than having a storage room that opens to the outside!

I had my stuff shipped from Atlanta, GA into this UHaul location using their UBOX option. I had issues/delays with my UBOX getting to NJ on time, but those issues and frustrations came from the Georgia end. The Howell UHaul was phenomenal though, I reached out to ask if my box had been received and they informed me it wasn't there when it was suppose to. They kept me in the loop and called me as soon as they received it. Unfortunately i could not get it that same day due to their trucks already being full. But, they were able to drop it off the next time even EARLIER than the time they told me which was a huge plus. I had them pick it up the next day and once again both days the driver gave me a call letting me know they were on their way and arrived earlier than what was listed as the pickup time. This specific UHaul location is definitely organized and communicates effectively compared to some of my unfortunate experiences with other locations across the country. I would highly recommend this location, but overall in terms of using the UBOX option Uhaul offers I'd stay cautious. If you are going to be in-state in NJ then I'd probably have no worries about delays etc. But, if you plan on taking it out of state it could be a difficult/frustrating experience depending on where you ship it too.

It's extremely great to do the self check in and just go about your business instead of having to be bothered with personal. Yes they're friendly but I just wanna check in, go to my unit, do what I have to do and leave.

Moved intonthis place from a neighbors recommendation and definitely like the garage to pull into not needing to worry about the weather when loafong and unloading. Always have carts available to use. Quiet clean and an attendant is always wondering around I'd you needed anything. And super big plus is they HAVE bathrooms to use.

We used this facility to store our household goods between moves and stayed on a bit longer with some bric a brac as sometimes happens. The facility is spotless. It is ideally set up with many moving dollies of different varieties and an elevator. There are large bay doors that allow you to pull in even large uhaul trucks so regardless of the weather you and your belongings stay dry and comfortable. The management, Dawn, is fantastic. We were there with our girls for hours and she must have seen them on the surveillance because soon enough she came down with water and pops for our girls. Hands down the best experience I have had at such a facility. Very polished. Thank you Dawn and Uhaul for taking such great care of our "stuff" and making our experience there such a great one.
