usually i never have an issue at this ulta, but today the lady ringing me up was a little ruder than normal. i had two items and i walked up to the line for the register. the lady ringing up was older, looked to be in her late 50s/early 60s, and she was helping a lady already. after she was finished with her, she just looked up and waved her hand for me to come over. i walked up and said hello, to which she did not respond. i put my things down and said “just those”. then she said i needed to put my ulta number in before she rang me up. while putting in the number she said “did you find everything alright sir?” to the guy who was standing behind me. he said he was looking for something and she was trying to help him. but i finished putting in my number and everything, and all her attention was focused on him. once she realized that she SLOWLY scanned my TWO items, still looking at him. then she sent through the payment to me without speaking to me, and just pointed at the card reader. she then went on her walkie talkie or headset and asked a worker to come help the “handsome man” at the register. when she realized i was done she just threw the receipt in the bag and pushed it over to me. I WAS the one to say have a nice day. just an odd interaction, maybe she didn’t think i was pretty or something. but every other worker was sweet and greeted me correctly. but idk as a past retail worker i would NEVER act that way towards a customer.

Management team here is disrespectful. I made sure to be as nice as possible when I reported that I was unhappy with my salon service because I am not the type of person to complain or be confrontational but they were not understanding or kind whatsoever which is exactly why people don’t feel comfortable speaking up when they’re unhappy. Additionally I was trying to avoid hurting the stylists feelings because she was a lovely person but the management turned it into a much bigger thing than it needed to be. Basically tried to accuse me of just trying to get a free salon service on the phone and when I physically came in for the refund has the same issue. Was asked if I made any recent posts on social media with my new hair flaunting it and then when I came in for the refund was told it’s strange to report this a week later. Mind you, I got the service done August 8th and I called cooperate August 9th and again August 10th because they told me I had to wait for the purchase to post to my rewards account first. I quite literally have an email from guest services from August 10th stating they would be contacting the general manager. People wonder why you’d rather go through cooperate than the in store management team. Making someone feel like an idiot in front of other people in the store over a refund for a fraction of the sales they make in a day. Was offered a complementary fix service on my hair but in order to fix my hair I will now have to bleach it which I am not comfortable doing - I made it very clear in my consultation that I wanted to change my hair color in the healthiest way possible. I am not a thief and to accuse someone of that after they left with their hair looking nothing like what the desired look was is insane to me. Do better Ulta.

The worst when it comes to appointment. This the 2nd time that they cancelled my appointment at the last minute when I have an event to go to and there is no other option given. I will not recommend anyone to schedule with ULTA in Howell especially if you have an event to go to.

The girls that work at the ultra in Howell are so sweet and just lovely. Great personalities and I can tell they love makeup. Anytime I'm checking out at the register or being greeted it's always someone that just looks cool. Cool hair colors, cool makeup, both done well. Always with a smile.

I visited Ulta to buy powder to go over my foundation. I was helped almost immediately when I walked in! The sales staff was so helpful, and I was very pleased with the product I bought! I recommend going to Ulta for expert makeup advice!

Stay away...came to spend some money on fragrance, asked for help, left alone and ignored for atleast 15 minutes. Very rude staff also. Save your money and buy from somewhere else.

I had a very bad curly hair cut experience at Ulta in Tom’s River last year. I decided to try the Howell location and made an appointment with Cali. From the minute she greeted me she was friendly and attentive. She listened to what I wanted and gave me input. We had lovely conversation while she dry cut, washed, conditioned and checked her work while my hair was wet. My hair was dried using a traditional beauty shop bonnet dryer. She made some product suggestions but did try to hard sell. I left the salon extremely happy and told her she better not leave me!! I have found my new hair stylist!

do not come here. there is a middle aged man clearly with some sort of problems that chases young girls around the store. Asking if they’re his friends, asking for pictures, etc. my daughter had to come out of the store and call me to come get her because he wouldn’t leave her alone. the workers act friendly with him and don’t address any of this behavior.

I've been going to this Ulta Salon for many years, my hairdresser is Cali and I love her to death! She is not only extremely knowledgeable but she is also very accommodating and not to mention very sweet! No matter how busy she is, she always has time for me! I always leave the Salon feeling and looking my best! Their entire staff is super friendly.

Cali at Ulta hair salon is the best! Always on schedule, always honest and pleasant. I have been going to her for years and have never had a problem with communicating what I want done when it comes to my haircuts or my hair color. She is very knowledgeable and very sweet.

Wow! Cassie made my hair look absolutely fabulous …never thought I gain so much confidence from a haircut but I did and my spouse absolutely loves it…Cassie is very kind and inclusive..she really cares about making you hair look great…thanks again✨
