I have decided to write this review as my interaction today specifically with the people at Wells Fargo in Howell NJ left a very bad taste in my mouth. Scenario: So I called Wells Fargo in Howell - I believe I spoke with someone named Joan initially- ( I may not be correct though). I advised I was calling for my fiancé because he needs to have something drawn up to include his name, and a print out of his most recent transactions beyond what the “most recent statement was”, and I was asking if they would be able to do that for him if he came down in person. So first of all right away she told me I need to call the number on the back of the card for that . Why would she tell me that if I literally am telling her he can come down in PERSON ?? Second - she put me on hold and she clearly seemed to have no sense of urgency , no job knowledge, and no willingness to help BEYOND MINIMUM STANDARDS. So when she came back from the hold, she pretty much told me that there are only very specific people who have access to handling the credit card statementsAnd insisted I/ my fiancé would have to call that number on the back of the card. So then I advised her that he urgently needs this print out today and is willing to come down in person and I am just trying to see if someone there can do that printout of what he needs if he comes down . So then - she puts me on hold and comes back on and tells me no I need to call that number no one can really do that there - so I said “well he needs this urgently - what about a manager” - do you have a manager there who would be able to do this for him ? And do you know what she said to me (lmao by the way )- she said “no the manager ‘s busy” .. then I was like you sound redundant .. they should be busy that’s what they’re getting paid for . So then I demanded to speak to the manager - who’s name was also Kim (same as mine) . I explained what I needed - and I also explained how the first person acted etc and that I don’t understand or know why they hire these people - but bottom line she did tell me my fiancé can come in and they would be able to provide him with the documents he needs. And a side note for Dillon the owner - this is NJ so it is a one side consent state so I have the FULL recorded conversation if you would like to hear it - u can see and judge for yourself . I would be embarrassed to have “ employees”like this working for me . You really need to teach your workers / employees that they should be going above and beyond or at the very least taking ownership .. instead of trying to pass everything off and then saying the manager is busy lol. That’s crazy to me. No wonder there are so many bad reviews - if everyone took the time to write the reviews I am confident the ratings would be even lower . And for anyone who is reading this - I would not recommend Wells Fargo in Howell unless you’re like me and aren’t a push over . Maybe one day they will get it right and start hiring people who actually care about their jobs but that’s very evident that it’s not going to happen anytime soon

Stay away from this Wells Fargo they do not want to do their job. The manager would not cash a check when I had the customer calling them saying to cash it because she just did not want to do it I feel like she discriminated me because of my race

The young man at the desk was so slow and lackadaisical. I was there for an hour! The manager finally came out she was super professional and courteous, albeit after the fact.

I had to get an emergency debit card without an appointment and William was the most helpful and friendliest employee I've ever met at any WF branch. He was very thorough and even offered to show me custom designs for my new permanent card. I am very happy with my service today.

Employees are very helpful and welcoming. The manager, William is always willing to answer my questions and has a smile on his face EVERY time I see him! Switched banks about a year ago, and I couldn't be happier! Thank you.

I've been banking there since they took over from Wachovia. They are always friendly and professional. I've waited in line longer then I wanted to but otherwise a good bank location!

I had all of my business accounts at Wells Fargo and did a lot of business with them for 16 years. They are no help whatsoever in assisting my business to help it grow. I have a 820 credit rating and still could not get a home equity line of credit on some of my Rental property investments! They put me through the ringer, then said no! They change managers monthly so you have no "go to" banker who knows you and your business. When you walk in you might as well be any stranger to them. I moved all of my business to a mid size non-public bank, Manasquan Savings Bank. They treat me like gold, know my name and my families names when we walk in. They came up with great business support strategies and fast funding. NEWS FLASH TO BUSINESS OWNERS: Keep all of your business in a small bank, they appreciate it and will help you grow. Big Banks could care less about you or your business.

I just left this branch after experiencing a discriminating visit with Mr William Bonacci and his female assistant branch manager. I have a solid business account with Fargo and withdrawal large sums of cash often. This experience was very different, very frustrating, time consuming and I never received an explanation for the hold up whenever I asked. At the very end of it all I STILL DIDN'T receive the service I came there for, A SIMPLE WITHDRAWAL!!!!!! I'll just visit my local branch tomorrow and guess what, I'm closing my business account and going directly to Chase bank! Side note: I never had a good experience with this bank. I've opened and closed four different accounts with Fargo and the worst experience is when Fargo bullied me through our home mortgage renegotiation during the housing crisis. The government stepped in to help rework thousands of loans for people but Fargo screwed us, literally. I should've never come back.

My company use to bank with BOA but I must say the staff at WF here in Howell are some of the most professional and customer service orientated staff I have met. Shout out to , Donna, Kaltrina, Grace, Jose, Joan, Lex and Shivani. Amazing staff!
